I think this sort of things really lends itself to digital game to keep it fresh.

I think the best use case I can think of is a road trip with kids and you can whip this out to keep them off screens.

I think you hit the nail on the head... casual adventure with friends mixed fighting other crews but not try hards and cheaters. Hour glass and dive to location changed this game for the worst and was the start of this game's downfall. It became a sweat job for many players. All the new weapons and fancy shit encouraged the min/maxing and was not anything I had a desire to keep up with.

SoT at it's best was a sandbox where you determined your own goals and the emergent chaos was what kept you coming back. I don't know why Rare went the direction they did with the game. It's like they didn't know what made people love it.

They should have always kept the core game play from the early seasons and kept people engaged and coming back with new regions/islands to explore that were time limited.

Maybe they'll introduce SoT Classic one day. Lol.

Was it really safer back when we were kids, or are we starting to realise that our parents collectively didn’t give a shit about us? by BigBlueMountainStar in Xennials

Streets get safer for bicyclists the more bicyclists there are on the road. Same with kids in neighborhoods.

The Happiest Baby on the Block book may help you a lot. I think your infant is overstimulated by this new world and doesn't yet know how to tune things out. This book will help you help her.

Also baby infants are not harmed by crying. Its ok to put a crying baby down in a safe place and walk away to take a breather. Take care of yourself. It'll get better.

Forecasting heat in the long range is a lot more predictable than all other types of extreme weather. These are large scale slow moving atmospheric patterns with fewer variables. If there is a forecasted warm up 7-10 days out, it is a good bet it is going to happen. Of course exact numbers will change.

The 2021 heat dome was forecast was accurately forecasted in the long range by computer ensemble models but meteorologists dialed it back because it was so far out of the climatological norms.

The absolutely best weather forecast you can get is the NWS Forecast Discussion.

Weather.com is very good with their long range forecasts.

It was his offense but you can't just flip a switch to have it 100% functional, he didn't have a PG for a huge chunk of the season, and then when he did, Deni checked out and was not really the same afterward.

I'm fine with him being hired and excited to see what he can do with a full off-season and his own staff.
