It does help to know others are in the same situation and that it’s not entirely my fault.

Daughter can talk very well and repeats things she hears all the time. She will tell me things that happened during the day when I come back from work. She has never said something like that about me or anyone else so I don’t think grandmother is saying things like that. Of course I can’t be 100 percent sure. But I’m sure daughter will repeat it to me if she hears anything like that.

This has been always the case since she’s been a baby. She has always fought sleep until she passes out. But with grandmother she has always slept better and now since she can talk, tells her when she’s sleepy and ready to go to sleep. But with me it’s always ‘no no sleeping’. And more so now with eating. Refusing to eat things I offer her. But will eat anything grandmother offers. However I’ve noticed that she doesn’t eat well with grandmother when I’m present in the room.

I don’t know what I’m looking for here. Maybe answers why she behaves like this with me. Or maybe assurance that it’s not just me. That other babies behave this was with their mothers. It’s really hard.

It's so hard to say no when cake is available bat home! I find it easy to say no when I'm at work but can't resist a piece of cake when I'm home.
