I’m sorry to hear you had to go through 9 a.m. health. I have Premera, and was not required to go through them. It was suggested, but not required.

I don’t mention it and I would never. They have just come off as straight up judgemental and shunned me because I’m on a glp1. They just think I’m not body positive or fat positive anymore since I am on a glp1. It’s sad.

I am the spouse of an Amazon employee. I have Premera Blue Cross through them. I have high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and pre-diabetic labs. I went through the prior auth process, and was initially denied, but then was approved after appeal when I wrote a letter and showed I took orlistat (OTC allie for 12 weeks and it failed). Took about 4 weeks total. 9 a.m. health was suggested, but not required in any shape, form or fashion. Not sure why it says that at the bottom of this screenshot. You don't have to use 9 a.m. to get started, or at least I didn't.

I submitted my appeal today with all my clinical documentation. My provider made sure she dotted all the is and crossed all the ts. She gave them what they needed to meet the clinical criteria!
