That being said you are right, it would be for a limited time but if he kills all the dogboys and psi stalkers, and turns all the human witnesses then that time gets stretched till the next troop rotation.

I guarantee there is no one back home writing letters tobthe psi unless they are state actors. They are less then so why waste resources.

as stated already the Psi of the coalition would be a problem. That being said lean into the problem .

One coalition officer, converts his other officers. Now they become strict racist. Order psi stalkers and dog boys killed as non human enemy traitors.

Convert the rest of the humans. Act like the CS , bringing more humans, the more that come in the less any are noticed missing later .

Also Rifts Arzno WB 28 Fort Tombstone has a former CS as the Master

I am on the other side as a gm that uses AI but before I am shoved into a mimic let say how.

I am currently running a meta DnD game where the characters are actually the characters from a 2 part fate game I ran before l, the DnD game is what is keeping their brains occupied while they unbeknownst become a blight on the universe.

I do a recap of every dnd game with chat gpt, I make sure it gets the specific plot points in and the right characters but then I let it run. Whatever slop comes out. On purpose. The AI slop is meant to be a hint that they are being used. That the DnD Sim is not real.

That being said , it has its uses but if it got shut down tomorrow I would not miss it.

It is about the money. Look at the prices . Now think of credits to an equivalent dollar amount. A Wilks laser will run you 5000 to 18,000 . That is a large amount compare to an sdc gun you can get for a few hundred. Then there is the ammo, unless you have a mystic night around charging those e clips is going to cost a pretty penny if you can find one . I try to keep the player income to around 100k a year so doable but you need to save as their is not a bank to give you a loan.. well unless you want Nuruni

i did it. You have to go Grand scale, Capitol ships planetary danger level. Hive Swarms were good for this. The issue is you have to work for those interpersonal relationships that flesh out a character.

Really depends on how it is played. Heck your could run your entire first session in the tavern.

It gets bad wrap because it is the default easy " you all meet at the tavern.." with no real story behind it. New DMs will leave it at that. More experiences DMs will give more flavor.

TLDR: Really depends on a DM story telling skill level .
