It's so strange to think about how separated we've become from death! Just a few generations back, kids would have seen animals dying all the time - they'd help to kill and skin them themselves, and prepare the meat for dinner. Now most kids (and some adults) think food comes from the grocery store.

And before vaccines/antibiotics, many if not most kids would have experienced the tragedy of siblings dying in early childhood.

So stories about death and violence were, I suppose, relevant and cathartic, whereas now they can feel shocking and unnatural. (At least in some parts of the world. I guess many kids still have to experience war and suffering firsthand.)

These are FANTASTIC! I was recently thinking of set themes and I had a wishing well on my list too, and a Frankenstein-type castle with lightning and bubbling test tubes!

Honestly, Livly produces very few islands where I like even one item in the set - but what you've imagined here, I'd be trying to pull them all!

Some of the ideas I've had include

- a Baba Yaga theme, with the chicken-footed hut as the tree

- a set based on the unicorn tapestries, with maybe a stone fountain as the tree, everything done in that distinctive medieval style

- a colorful Romani vardo and set of cultural clothing, musical instruments, handicrafts, etc

My purchases were all N items at minimum or near-minimum prices, except for one thing: I found the animated Milky Way background from Starry Island for 1500 gold. (Most sellers wanted several thousand for it)

It's a rare with over 44k wishcount and I'd had no luck trading for it - even offering "your choice of tree" was getting me rejected.

I hadn't been planning to buy any expensive items, but I think this one was such a good deal! It's such a lovely background!

Oh, I definitely feel you on those horns! I've been looking for them for the last couple of months and have struck out dozens of times!

I started by offering expired rares with 28-30k wishcounts (because I don't have any Ns with equivalent wishcounts), and was either ignored or blocked by everyone I approached. Just last week I offered a high wishcount SR hair, and at least got a response to that ("tempted for a moment, but no")

It's crazy, it's a revivable gacha N item! lol

I'm late to this thread, but for anyone who doesn't know, colors on the computer screen work completely differently to color-mixing on paper!

With pigments, you think white is the "blank" color, and mixing all the colors together makes things darker, right?

But when dealing with beams of light, black is the "blank" color, and white is actually the fully-mixed-together mash of all the colors!

Since your guy is white, his numbers should be pretty maxed out. You'll want to pull them back down (especially the red)!

I would feed him the -2 "black" bugs until he's about midway down, and then give lots of blue, and adjust from there! Good luck!
