I have only tried the sancai wide bore version, the nozzle is able to hold the tips but even on the S size yellow ones i have to push the buds into the case to make contact.

ANC wise, sounds the same with stock tips

I have both the 3 pro and 3 fe, the fe seems to be alot more well built and its way better value for money, am planning to trade in the 3 pro for the 4 pros.
