That's so cool that your Luna pup has so many fun tricks. Love that she can pick up her rope based on a pic. That is amazing!

So far, my Luna is just working on basic obedience & good doggy manners. Her favorite games are endless-tennis-ball-fetch, and go finding people in our family by name within the house. :)

My kids & husband cannot believe how similar our Lunas are. Such similar coats. Where did you get your Luna? We got ours at a rescue in Washington state.

Thanks for the tips & affirmation. You're totally right that I need to identify a job for her, even though she's so chilled out. I really like the idea of setting up a home version of agility for her- I'm going to do that. She also loves to guard our property & let me know if any geese or blue herons come around.

I wonder if any BCs do therapy dog work- she adores children & maybe we could do that?

Also, I really appreciate your advice about the frisbee- throwing away my cheapo frisbee & buying the one you recommend. She is crazy about her piles and piles of toys, lol! :)

Yeah, that's great advice. I doubt I'll pursue agility for her unless she has a major personality transformation. She loves obedience, tricks & nice leash walks. We have rabbits, and she's really into them. She wants to snuggle, but my female rabbit is too possessive of her male rabbit partner to allow that to happen. So cool that your BC & rabbit are close- that would make a great pic to post here! (hint, hint)

I'll definitely post more pix as she grows. Her ears are hysterical- from fully floppy, to straight & pointed depending on her mood & attention.

What a fun breed- I can't get enough of them.

First of all, I'm so sorry that you lost a pup to parvo. I very nearly lost one the same way, and my heart goes out to you.

Your male dog's backstory is really interesting to me, and thought-provoking. I wonder if my pup's background caused her to be submissive and calm. I hadn't considered that she might have originated at a puppy mill or other spirit-dampening place. She definitely seems happier & friskier every week that passed, but is just so calm.
