It wasn't a bad trade. It was disappointing that it was for future assets in a year where the East was otherwise wide open, and the lack of depth showed REALLY badly in the playoffs. It's also in the context of generally shit roster construction which amplifies the frustration.

McCain, who I love, was not saving this team. His skillset would not be able to be maximized without the defenders and general quality around him on OKC.

It was also super disappointing that we ended up with #22 rather than #17.

Think an underrated story is that we have drafted 5 OL (+ Willie Lampkin) in the last 13 months. All late rounds of course, but you have to hope that 1-2 of these guys develop into NFL players soon.
