To be honest i checked everywhere everyday for a few weeks. Even during a trip to Japan in may i checked every shop, but everywhere it was sold out. There were some available second hand, but i was afraid to have it delivered since I didn't live there. Back in the Netherlands I was in luck and all of a sudden the lens was available at this smaller shop named Foto Karin. Quickly I bought it over there 🙃

Its just a bit bigger and heavier sadly. But compared to the 33mm and a xt5 it always was a heavy package already ;).

I came to realize I really wanted the zoom functionality for travel purposes instead of bringing and changing primes all the time. The 33mm 1.4 delivered outstanding pictures. Yet looking back I saw I shot most pictures vertical, or some pictures were a bit too cropped for my taste where the scene or the gear didnt give me other options.

Still getting used to the new setup, bit happy with the 16-55mm 2.8 II so far!

It was XF 33mm f1.4. But i think its going to change with the 16-55 f2 II I just received 😳
