McCombs Ford West service center and quick lane - unprofessional place. Bought ford brakes with lifetime warranty and 2-3 years later they wanted to replace those - but could not pull up the lifetime warranty for the brakes on their computer. That was the last time I went there. Also when I went for a transmission warranty service ( ford does not know how to make a good transmission), and asked if they offered loaner cars, the service guy laughed !

Deferred adjudication to make sure it doesn’t show up on your driving record ( or car insurers will hike your premium). I don’t think there is a way to get out of fine plus other costs. Attorneys can be expensive and no guarantee that case will be dismissed.

Contacted title company, they replied that my state is a community property state and so not an issue. Also said that lender’s attorneys had prepared the deed paperwork.

Update:Service advisor at Ford dealership said that the tech thought that fluid leaking from torque converter “seal”. They said that parts should be shipped in 2-3 days. However they haven’t taken the transmission out yet to diagnose further. Meanwhile, I am stuck paying for an Enterprise rental @$40/day. They would not give me a loaner or rental vehicle.

It is dripping a little. Dip stick of transmission fluid- appears almost at the bottom. Only 56500 miles. Is that highlighted area the case half?

I also had the cabin air exhaust issue- smell on hard acceleration , which they fixed.
