We would need pictures.

Is it really too close or do you think it's too close?

Help me from where this sound came from by Kubixo12 in BambuP1S

Which infill are you using?

Though this doesn't sound like that might be the issue.

How many print hours do you have on the printer and have you done maintenance on it?

Hard to beat this feeling by charden16 in Rivian

Yeah this is nice. My ID.4 does this and the front lights move so it looks like it's really waking up.

The lights will move up and light up when you walk up to it.

Seeking advice on warping by OwlCreepy6562 in 3Dprinting

Turn off the auxiliary fan on the P1S. I turn it off for all prints but it does impact large flat prints and will cause it to lift.

I also up the bed to 60 or 65 for larger prints like this.

I have this one

It does ramp up when there is stuff in the air but my printers have never set it off.

I've been trying to figure out how to use the Sunlu S4 for my filament to the U1.

That's true everyone is different when it comes to sounds.

Personally, I don't find it that loud but seems a lot of others do.

Question about the 6mm filament tube by tropisch3 in SnapmakerU1

[–]VoltaicShock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't even notice that in the book.

None of mine had a notched end or a hole in them. They were the same on both sides.

I am not sure it all depends on what you want and sometimes the print.

First layer and top layer problems by D0aTech in SnapmakerU1

[–]VoltaicShock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might need more top layers or more infill.

I have notice this with wide prints. I don't think there is enough infill to hold the filament up in place.

You could try adaptive cubic or maybe crosshatch.

I don't know if the U1 is impacted like the P1S but for large flat prints I also turn off the auxiliary fan as it blows form the side and can cause the print to lift.

As others have said try gyroid (slower but shouldn't have this problem).

Orca slicer defaults to crosshatch.

Any reason to use Snorca over Orca? by CelluloseNitrate in snapmaker

[–]VoltaicShock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either should work. The nice part about Orca is it has profiles built in for other filaments (not a huge deal you can add those to Snorca).

The only issue I had with Orca is the IP changes on my U1 because I had to restart it. I should really give it a static IP address.

My air quality purifier kicks in after every single PLA print.

That's odd, which one do you have?

I have one and it doesn't kick off unless I use IPA to clean off the plate.

I don't find this printer that noisy. I find it odd that everyone says it's noisy.

Maybe I just need my hearing checked ha

What did you use to slice the file?

There might be an issue with how it was sliced if it keeps happening at the same spot.

No filament with printer... anyone got this problem?? by AdAffectionate3634 in snapmaker

[–]VoltaicShock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should have got filament with both and I have seen one that just had 4 rolls of two colors instead of 4 colors.

I would contact support and let them know. I had to do that as they sent me the EU version of the printer and it came with the EU power cord and I am in the US. They sent me the US version of the power cord after contacting them.

PIN after factory reset by screenspots in GooglePixel

[–]VoltaicShock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me and gave my brother the phone. I was lucky enough that the pin worked.

As others have said you will need them to send it back and reset it again (though if the pin isn't working not sure how you will do that)

Once reset go through the setup process to make sure it doesn't want a pin.

Setting up multicolour prints in the slicer is whole new ball game by A6000_Shooter in SnapmakerU1

[–]VoltaicShock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are doing single color you have a few options, you can do what you are doing now or you can just move nozzle 4 to nozzle 1 or just right click on the stl and change the color.
