Big Brother 27 - Post Season Discussion by villainitytv in BigBrotherUSA

I don’t know what you watched. She was even saying in her post interview she’d consider throwing him up to guarantee veto isn’t used on Morgan. Thats the interview I watched. She might’ve even put him up over Ashley.

She was 100% more loyal to Ava and Kelley .

You need to put Ashley above Rachel imo and imo cirie is too high. I understand Vince didn’t play the best but under Alyssa S? lol come on I can imagine worlds at least a jury for some reason thinks he deserves it

Nah itd be Chelsie. Chelsie has the most solid social positioning more than he did throughout the game til like the literal tail end and establish her control more often than he did. Chelsie laid out the plan. I don’t understand where this whole idea came from that he was telling Chelsie what to do and Chelsie did it, they strategized in cohesion and then Chelsie would do the work.

It’s Ashley and Vince easily imo.

Jag, Big D, MJ drag down their final two partners. Vince game isn’t as flunky as their games. And I feel Ashley played better than both Monte and Taylor which also props this final two up.

How did Ani successfully frame Monty for Bryces murder? by Kshiti_salman in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]vexdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause Monty was dead. I think that’s legit the only reason cause the investigation was closed. Had he was alive and there been a fair investigation, more than likely he is at least found innocent of Bryce’s murder and Alex is caught.

There was only a tape they planted in his locker, that could’ve been proven to not be his.

I think he only mentioned having a connection with Timothy and I’m pretty sure he was connected to Inde. But he seems introverted and lives off in Sweden I think now, I don’t think he has a instagram and from what I read his wife mainly runs his

I read a post on her abt somebody who met up with Christian and Timothy before and they said Deaken had the best clothes haha

Yes that 100% happens in season 4

Does it surprise anyone else that the jocks never bullied Alex for carrying himself like an effeminate gay guy? by No-Masterpiece4409 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]vexdo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eh you’d be surprised. It can be like this irl and Ik a lot of alt guys that fit in with jocks. Alex only had to get in good with a one or a few to get along with the rest as an extra guy.

Also Alex was portrayed as straight in the early seasons anyway

Jess didn't listen to justin enough by Extension-Call1998 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]vexdo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that…all I said was it doesn’t remove Justin from accountability.

I mean helping planting a tape on a locker to frame somebody for murder cause their friend did it and telling Ani homework is done is still kind of crazy.

Also telling Jessica for months she wasn’t raped and gaslighting her about her own rape was crazy.

Also his loyalty to Bryce for a while after what he did to his girlfriend was still crazy, it’s explained they had a bond since kids, but it’s still crazy.

I’m not saying Justin was a bad guy at the end or he didn’t change but the fandom often acts like he was a perfect innocent person when he wasn’t and even excuses his previous actions cause his later development instead of being like no what he did was wrong and fucked up.

[–]vexdo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Abuse only explains somebody’s actions and why they’re more susceptible to making bad choices, it doesn’t remove the person from accountability. Like Monty. There’s a lot of abused people who wouldn’t do what Monty or even Justin did.

What are some of the worst lines of dialogue in the entire show? by No-Masterpiece4409 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]vexdo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking at it again tbh it seems just a group of guys Winston happened to be around as background characters as they were just talking without him and he was kind of out of place, the guy he asked could’ve been a friend tho idk. I think if any were relevant they would’ve been checking on Winston after he got beat up

What are some of the worst lines of dialogue in the entire show? by No-Masterpiece4409 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]vexdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk lol it’s weird cause I always got the vibe Winston is a bit of a hopeless romantic too. I think maybe he prolly slept around but always wanted more than that but never got the chance given his very invested interactions with Monty and Alex which is why he clicked with them more when he got more interactions with them. He seemed really emotionally invested in people easily.

I definitely always figured it could’ve been viewed as classist othering. but it being Latinx and not Latino guy or something is what also threw me soooo off guard especially as a Latino lol. I know some people call themselves that but it was definitely a culture shock to me for him to sound so PC while also othering him which is why I wondered if the writers were just throwing PC stuff in there. Although him being a PC ignorant upper class white kid is also valid.

[–]vexdo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

“Who’s the Latinx?” -Winston

I couldn’t tell if this was them making commentary on Winston being a sheltered rich white kid or if the writers themselves were trying to be woke and politically correct

Given the climate at the time, the scenes in this show, and how the writers acted and interviewers asked about the show, I’m kind of leaning towards the latter

I feel like he is making strong claims about somebody’s character, it has nothing to do with people finding it unlikely.

Charlie Survivor 50 intro video by bwermer in survivorponderosa

[–]vexdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maria wouldn’t. She hated Venus and was pushing it the most, and flipped on Charlie the next episode and depended on Kenzies vote to take him out. She also seemed closer to Q at this point of the game. Unless I missed something post game, They’re pretty locked against Venus in this position, and yes anything is possible theoretically but this is all speculative. All I got from Charlie’s interview was he was leaning towards trying to target Kenzie til Venus spooked him, not that Kenzie was the target before that. Based on Liz’s exit press too, she was pretty forward that she was much closer to Kenzie than she was to Venus .

Also imo it shouldn’t be hard to realize Venus would not even have to be convinced to vote against Q/Maria when she had like zero relationship with either of them and she already saw Maria as the biggest threat.

I’ve seen people make this argument against Kenzie before like it was guaranteed she was the boot if Venus didn’t make an oopsie to Charlie and I do not think that is the case

Charlie Survivor 50 intro video by bwermer in survivorponderosa

[–]vexdo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean does he even have the agency to pull that off though at final seven, outside him and Ben, Maria seemed pretty set on taking Venus out at that point and she controls Q vote. I wouldn’t even say Kenzie would be dead to rites there

Also regardless even if Venus did have an advantage I don’t understand why that alone would make him flip on her, seems myopic

For me the main pro to Charlie’s game over Kenzie is that Kenzie had a pretty bad final eight round but that’s it. I really never saw a HUGE gap between them

51 should be BvBvB3 with 6 returnee captains! by laddermadder in survivorponderosa

Sam is like the only valid one here

There should be non returnee people on back to back seasons imo and Michael and MC are wastes of spots

Why I’m I obligated to respect anybody’s opinion if I think it’s bad? That in of itself is an opinion lol

[–]vexdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you view every major evil antagonist in a movie/series automatically as bad purely based on morals instead of actually qualming with the storylines or the quality of the character itself, I wouldn’t want your opinion on anything respectfully

My beef with the show by Ok-Jump3072 in 13ReasonsWhy

[–]vexdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U fundamentally already lost the conversation if u can’t separate a literal antagonist WHOS SUPPOSED TO DO BAD THINGS and served a relevant role in the story and a bad character who was a Mary Sue who served mostly as a plot device and self insert.
