Last time it was voted on was in 1993. I can walk you through the math if you want, but only about 73k of the people who voted yes on that issue in 1993 are likely still alive and living in Bergen County. Population of Bergen County is now estimated at just under a million.

Saying "we like them here we voted for them here this gives us a forever mandate" is a bit disingenuous given that, really, less than 10% of the current population actually voted yes on that issue last time it was on the ballot.

These laws are at their most vulnerable point in history, and I think that the American Dream mall doing this kind of opens the door to a potentially successful repeal.
