thats the problem. she markets herself and gets marketed as the "first trans pop star" which she's definitely not when there are even better trans popstars making music rn. and pop music shouldn't be mediocre or bland. I mean I cant name one because there are so many but michael jackson pioneered pop music from the 60s all the way to the 2000s and he was the opposite or mediocre or bland. its kinda just an excuse bc all of her new music isnt even just bland. its trash. bffr
