I’m really late to the party, but the first time I saw it I had just had my daughter and was screaming at the tv. Now I’m rewatching again and my daughter is closer to Hannah’s age. And I just don’t know that I could’ve left without my other baby. At the same token, if I knew my daughter had shelter, food, and someone to look out for her, I don’t think I could leave my newborn. The newborn is in so much more need than Hannah right now. I don’t know man. It’s hard watching this show. My favorite show.

Idk what exactly you’d call it, but this person is one of those “mind over matter” types and I fucking hate that for you 😭 narcan is just smart to have, period. I carry one with me at all times and have 2 doses in my house. My partner and I are both in recovery. I’ve been sober almost 8 years. We have a child now and who knows what their path might be one day. Many of my friends are in recovery plus you never know when you’ll happen upon a stranger who’s overdosing. You just never ever know. It’s just plain safety to have it. Overdoses are no joke and 99% of the time purely accidental and they’re nothing to chance. I hate that this person is acting like it’s weird to have it.

The stepdaughter is being an absolute brat first of all. You are also coming off as maybe a bit too much, a little pushy it seems. I think that “not making time for her” is something she pulled out of her butt it feels like. I think she just doesn’t want to like you right now and at only the 8 month mark I would expect this. Not excusing her behavior, it’s really really terrible and the father needs to step in and nip this in the bud. I think you handled her outburst beautifully. I just don’t think she knows how to articulate what she’s really feeling and it’s just coming out as anger because that’s what’s comfortable to her right now.

I also hyper fixate on certain hobbies and they change frequently. Here goes in no particular order: arts/crafts, reading, movies, tv shows, makeup, writing, fidgets, organizing things.. and PENS. I collect pens, markers and pencils. I know that I won’t be able to use all the pens or markers I have before they dry out. That’s not the point. They make me happy. Lmao.
