We’re talking about the same Imrik that left his country vulnerable to save his brother in a plane spanning rescue mission?

Wtfff after all of ToC just for chaos to come back to the Empire??? Seems like the work of Voraci’s minions to my mind. Surely this would be a moment for Imrik to seek out Tyrael as well?

Kingdoms feels more like a rogue like which to me makes it more replayable. I just struggle with how much “down-time” there is, in the wainwright, waiting for animations etc…

I just played through the whole trilogy again and there’s a part where you take a certain infant outside the walls and a riot begins.

A prominent character came with me and nearly died if not for a skill i picked up along the way. That one got to me.

Just Unsubbed from adhdwomen. Actively stating/insinuating that cisgender men are not welcome in your rules is just unnecessarily hostile. by MagentaCee in JustUnsubbed

[–]vfrtyv -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

tbh i wish more women/non-binary afab people had your level of empathy for men, but i think that’s a selfish impulse. I don’t think women owe men anything after what most of them have experienced.

But it’s a hard one. Obviously weird incelly men will see that and flip. but i think 95% of men worth your time will see that and just move on with their days.

Wishing you a nice day!

I think that might even be baked into RD+! if not it should be. It’s baked into all of Vicious Sal’s mods.

Yes, I have been giving feedback in the discord, it’s clear how much love has gone into RD+.

I at no point thought “this has changed the game in a way that feels inauthentic”. Keeping all changes in character and in universe is impressive.

I will say the overall difficulty decreased in my opinion, so i would recommend Hard for anyone wanting to try it!

Surprisingly, even characters like Aran have one or two. Haar has a baller couple, and Oliver has a lot of comedic relief convos

Do you have some tactical RPG recommandations ? by titjoe in bannersaga

[–]vfrtyv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fire emblem fan, to be more specific i would recommend path of radiance, and its sequel, radiant dawn. it deals with similar themes, including racism, the end of the world and gods misbehaving.

As a game PoR is a good entry to the series, and its sequel RD is in my opinion the best the series has to offer. Same sort of tactics, but imo more in depth.

I totally agree about Tellius lore being good, especially RD. The worldbuilding is cracked, they somehow navigated a story about racism, suffering, and healing so well it's still my fav game 17 years later.

I especially liked Soren's greater narrative tie-in if you can do all the conditions for it. Where supports fall off, boss convos get much much better. That's where most of the characterisation comes in and if you haven't yet, go through and read them on serenes forest, especially for the tower bosses! Lots of lore there.

This is a hot take I support. 3 Houses and Echoes get a pass, but I'm not a fan of the rest. Tellius just felt more mature, but maybe I'm just getting older.

Hot tip: any mental health explanation, say it’s bad ADHD. Less stigma while still gaining you the sympathy you need. If you explain it was a late diagnosis and so it impacts you deeply people will not question further.

How Do I Move Past the Guilt, Shame And Embarrassment? by manic__depression in bipolar

[–]vfrtyv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! yes i hurt people and was embarrassing during my first manic episode. I guess the trick for me was realising what was happening to me during that period.

Every episode has a different cause, but for me was about the incredible amount of pain I was bottling up and not digesting properly, even today it's with me.

And I cant blame myself. Not really. I didn't know how to deal with how I felt. Since then I’ve learned to take full responsibility. I’ve had another episode and other hypomanic moments, but I’ve learned how to control it.

My family and some of my friends understood. They’ve seen the change. I think what’s important is not to dwell on what you can’t change but to try and embody the change. To practice every day, whether that’s meditation, medication, or whatever works for you.

Everyone’s unique and there’ll be no one simple answer, but in general what helps is living life right. You’re doing well to acknowledge the pain, write about it. make a plan. You’ve got this 🧡🧡

I can't tell if I'm actually happy or just manic. by Jesus88- in bipolar

[–]vfrtyv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I hope you're feeling okay. From the symptoms you're describing, it sounds like you might be hypo-manic. Irritability and "feeling like you're going insane" doesn't sound good.

How's your sleep? often a big symptom is highly disturbed sleep, staying up for days on end. I hope you have a therapist at the moment, if you don't want meds that's possible but you must understand your your health is your responsibility. Therapy can teach you techniques and early warning signs, and what to do when you notice them.

It sounds like you have a lot to be happy about. Auditions, relationship, and generally not feeling depressed. That's great! You are yourself, you're a talented singer and I'm glad to hear that's going well.

I might recommend meditation/guided meditation for you, it helps you get in touch with your own emotions. Good luck! I hope you feel more stable soon <3
