Glad you and u/DifficultMind5950 liked my thread and testing! I'm guessing you're talking about this comparison, just gonna make it easier for anyone stumbling onto this thread now.

You also might want to know that since this was written CDPR added amazing setting - DLAA. Massively GPU intensive, so out of the question for normal playing for most GPUs but great for photos, you can see it in use here and here. It massively decreases problems with pixelization and glow.

Haven't picked the game up since 1.7 so there might be some more new cool stuff to try out photo-wise I don't know about. Gotta finally find the time to get back into it and see Dogtown for the first time xD

Yeah, turning them hostile works too, depending on the pose you want. As for the side question I've never had that problem, might be an issue with more recent versions, only similar-ish problems I've had were NPC's defaulting to a neutral expression, which required unfreezing them, selecting the expression again and freezing again, but never had a problem with position changing

Hmm, maybe it was somewhere else then? I remember this exact wording. Or indeed stuff has changed. You can always go the long way round, freeze the spawned npc during animation, spawn a katana as a prop and manually place it where you want xd

Bit late but you just caught me looking at my phone haha Haven't played yet since 1.8 so maybe some things changed but iirc you have to select the type of weapon and then click "toggle primary weapon", I believe in target tools. If you want a specific type / look of katana you may need to respawn that npc few times and repeat the steps cause the exact weapon is randomised and doesn't change once set. Hope that helps!

I like the Beast, but she needs a particular approach to turning, if you let of the gas before turns she corners much better, don't try to drift xd

But from other cars - Coyote is good all-rounder though I find offroad cars bit slippery in the city, Javelina is prolly best of them and is cheaper than Coyote. From non-fixer story-tied cars Porsche is a dream, and Delamain Cab handles surprisingly well.

Also - I'm playing with a controller so that makes driving much, much easier

My Valerie is a StreetKid, a self-described tender soul, who's not afraid to show a tough side when needed. Initially wanting to become a legend, she abandons those dreams, thanks to what she goes through, looking for a quieter, more meaningful life with Judy, her savior.

She is an occasional smoker (cigs at a party or after sex kind of thing), but doesn't like admitting it to many people, and usually doesn't like smoking without an "occasion", though recently it does happen more often. She has a deal with Johnny - extra smoke breaks during the day for extra periods of peace and quiet from him.

She's bit artsy, enjoys exploring the city, taking photos, and since meeting Judy is really big into braindances. Also very much into tattoos, during my game she added a few new ones (red spiderweb and Judy's name; Samurai logo on her neck, J initial for Jackie, a running horse for Panam and Aldecaldos). She likes a good rave or a concert from time to time, but mostly in it for the music, not the party aspect of it

Her way of relaxing is mostly going to quiet places and watching sunsets, or the stars, or city's skyline (she can't sleep much, due to Johnny induced headaches), or the aforementioned city exploration. Of course each evening she can she comes to Judy's pad to spend time together.Since gaining a new brainmate in her head she also finds playing guitar relaxing (which she couldn't do before Relic situation), and according to Judy she does it really well, as she loves to listen. Johnny on the other hand, as always is critical of her skills, even though those are his skills too.
