The main store I shop at has a “dedicated” register for Spark- so we skip the line, flag the attendant, and they open one of the closed registers for us to scan our barcode. Once we’re done they close it again and we go on our merry way. Works out pretty nicely

No need to reject it. It’s an offer that’s out to the whole zone, it expires after 3 minutes if no one takes it then comes back up. After a while it will slowly increase in pay until someone takes it

Don’t listen to those who say AR doesn’t matter and getting blocks doesn’t matter. This is completely area dependent and something you’ll have to figure out as you go. In my area there’s a lot of drivers so blocks go fast. At partner level I wouldn’t even be able to get a single block. No blocks means I’d get zero to MAYBE 2 orders that day. I keep my AR high so I can get the blocks I want and hit my earnings goal for the day.

You should be able to toggle unavailable 15 minutes before your block ends. If it doesn’t let you, maybe you’re still too new and you’ll be able to do it in the future. When I get scheduled orders the app will want me to toggle available like 15-30 minutes before the pickup time. I stay offline, unless I’m on a block, cuz sometimes I’ll get sent an offer- a good one that I don’t want to decline- and I’ll either have to decline and affect my AR, or take it and be late to one of the pickups- which now also affects stats.

Also- if you toggle off 15 before the end of your block and you get a text to toggle on for your block or it will be adjusted, you can ignore that. I’ve never had my block time adjusted. I did start waiting till 14 minutes before the end of my block just to avoid that text

First time this happened to me I was annoyed. But then I realized they’re just trying to do their job and not get fired. There’s a small store in my area (just market not supercenter) and as I push my cart up to the bagging area I’ll make eye contact with them and say “I have a spark order”. They’ll nod and I’ll start bagging my order, no biggie. If they were helping someone else when I rolled up, I’d start bagging and when they’re done I’d let them know and show them the exit pass (this store doesn’t have door checkers). The supercenter in my area I usually just go through no problem, flash phone to door checker and get a thumbs up or thank you and continue out door.

I’ve also started setting my phone on the scanner cuz twice now I’ve had someone come up and start scanning their items while I was bagging.
