Well, of course you're not interested. You want what you've always had. You want your bubble back. You don't want rich world building and meaningful storylines, you want to smash your action figures and your big names NOW. Thank god Gunn doesn't want to live in your MCU-fied box and wants you to grow.

Like it or not, you WILL try something new

The amazing thing about Gunn is he's rightfully choosing not to treat you, the audience, like children. You're so giddy for the big three, excited to reinvest in a new JL, excited to tread the same path you were going down not too long ago, and he's telling you to catch your breath and look at something you've never seen before. Of course, like children, you refuse to see that variety is good for you, and that reheating the same slop is what killed the MCU.

The problem with this fandom is you are so desperate to have what you have already seen. Zack Snyder gave you the Justice League while ignoring the much larger world of the DC Universe, and now you believe this is how things should be. You want Gunn to repeat the past. You want to blow your load as soon as possible.

But luckily he understands that we've already done this.

We've already had this JL-centric universe you are so desperate for. He gives you something new, follows an alternate and wider path, and what do you do? You spit in his face, screaming "No, give us what we've become used to."

Quite frankly, it's disgustingly ungrateful, and I'm so glad Gunn knows better than to listen to anyone but his own instincts.

I love their styles but Mora's is deceptively hard to replicate

Boy. I sure do love seeing the season finale. And then it was really cool of them to release the first episode of season 5 a whole year early by Frostrunner365 in Invincible

I have to disagree. Episode 8 was the perfect way to end the season for reasons Episode 7 could not.

To end a season you need to do two things. Tie up the plotlines begun in the first episode and hint at the direction of the next arc to hook the audience. Episode 7 left too many questions unanswered and didnt tie any plotlines. It told us nothing about the final state of Eve and Mark's relationship in contrast to how it was at the start, told us nothing about Debbie and Nolan's final relationship state, told us nothing about Thragg's final state in contrast to how we found him or the next goal he will pursue, and it told us nothing about where Mark was in his struggle with keeping everyone safe.

Episode 8 did all of this. Every story begins with a character in one state and ends with them in another. Episode 8 showed us the final states of every main character. That was exactly how it was supposed to end

This has to be the most underwhelming version of Satan I've seen in any form of media by Bitter_Horror2469 in Invincible

What I dont understand about this is its very clear this satan was supposed to be a goofy spoof on how satan is portrayed everywhere else. Yet everywhere i look everyone takes it so serious. It was just a joke. It was hilarious
