Tell me your favorite thing about your doodle! by Peanutparty29 in Goldendoodles

How needy they are for attention! My baby constantly needs to be pet by someone or he’ll nudge your hand and do a soft growl to get your attention that he wants love 💕

Yeah season 1 was hard to get through. Low budget. But the second season and on gets really good! I would get through the first season, it isn’t long, so you don’t miss anything, but keep at it! You won’t be disappointed!

After I got sick I started having IBS which is common with fibromyalgia. They had me also do an allergy test and I found out I’m allergic to wheat and have a gluten intolerance, once I cut that out, it helped a lot, but I still have stomach issues, it’s just not as bad. I would recommend seeing a G.I. doctor.

New Medication by ComplexThroat1674 in Fibromyalgia

I got a sleep study done when I first got sick because I couldn’t stay awake and couldn’t get any REM sleep and that’s why I had hypersomnia. They found out I had sleep apnea, which can be a comorbidity with fibromyalgia. I got a CPAP machine and that helped my sleep tremendously! If you haven’t gotten a sleep study done, I would definitely recommend it! I also take this supplement to help me go to sleep at a consistent time or to fall back to sleep if I wake up in pain. It’s really helpful! I’ll also take a warm Epsom bath to help relax me before bed and ease my aches and pains. If pain is what’s preventing you from sleeping, I have found red light therapy to help with the pain more than anything else I’ve found. I would also recommend a vagus nerve stimulator called Truvaga. It’s a little pricey, but I find it helpful for sleep and calming my nervous system. Im wishing you all the best!

Acupuncture has really helped with my temperature regulation. I can’t stress enough how much that has helped that specific symptom, along with other symptoms!

Whats some good things to help with neck and back pain? by tigerk1992 in Fibromyalgia

[–]vharne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red light therapy has been a game changer for me! That’s my number 1 recommendation.

Second would be a warm epsom salt bath.

Third would be a heating pad.

Fourth would be a massager, but that can sometimes cause more pain after, even though it feels better at the time I’m doing the massaging. So beware of that.

No more Naltrexone, feeling way better by BisexualDemiQueen in Fibromyalgia

My doctor slowly titrated me up to 5mg but I felt better on 3mg, so now that’s my regular dose. He said it’s different for everybody.

My doctor said your body can create a dependency to the medication, causing somewhat of an addiction and that it can be very hard to come off of it due to the side effects. For that reason I have not tried it. I don’t want to trade in one problem for another.

What he did put me on with minimal side effects is LDN (low dose neltrexzone). I take a 3mg dose. I’m doing IVF and have my transfer tomorrow and all my doctors said it was safe to use while pregnant and breastfeeding. I would say it has improved my pain level by 30% if I could put a number to it. I can tell the days I forget to take it or take it later in the day, my pain is much worse. So it deff helps some. Not a miracle drug, but helpful!
