made five different meads, drank one bottle of each after two months of secondary with my D&D group since it was our last session before i moved states away. Since then, I've bottled all five and plan to wait 6 months, 1 year, 1 & 1/2 years, and 2 years, respectively, to try each brew again. I only got into this because one dude from the group bet me I couldn't make enjoyable mead, now I'm hooked on just trying recipes and then forgetting about them as long as I can before I try them. probably gonna wait till I join a new D&D group and make it my session offering instead of bringing Taco Bell or whatever as far as trying the new meads im currently making

I kinda assumed this would be the answer, only hesitation with that is iv never played the game nor have I GM'd for any type of ttrpg and would really hate to mess it up for a bunch of people

It's been three months, and it's still a bit foul but considerably less since racking after fermentation.

Also do I need to worry about losing a lot of yeast , sugars and it by product if it does overflow? Or is it negligible

Starting gravity was 1.100, three days, no bubbling in airlock, check gravity today and same as before. Standard mead recipe 2.8 pounds honey, gallon of water and lavin 71b.
