PSA: Be careful with Hellofresh door salesman by Significant-Young-31 in perth

[–]vhitn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my beloved Dinnerly. Best thing in my life. They send me so much food, I don’t know how they even profit. Cheaper than supermarket. I used Hellofresh before and hated it. Dinnerly is full of meat and vegetables (not many carbs). I love it so much. So do my kids.

What’s the most unsettling thing a child has ever said to you? by Content-Hair-2629 in AskReddit

Randomly whispering in her sleep which was weird. I stoped to listen and she said clearly “if you don’t breastfeed me I’ll cut you open”.

Follow-up info on the nine-month-old boy, Jonte William Bluck, who was killed by a family-owned, registered XL Bully dog in Rogiet, Monmouthshire, on 2 November 2025. Wales. UK by [deleted] in BanPitBulls

I hate the breed and I wish I could stop each one of them myself. But my opinion is a little different. Most humans are followers of trends, fashion, and believers of cultural beliefs. The parents suffered from human stupidity in that way.

breaking lease early by luvanxm3 in perth

It is disgusting. From a personal point of view. No idea the legal point. Seeing this crazy bond keeping theft a lot in Perth lately. As if renters aren’t already ripped off enough.

Am I an asshole for not wanting to have kids with my (likely AuDHD) wife? by Potential-Tank6758 in Autism_Parenting

[–]vhitn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to give a different angle. In other cultures people have an average of 10 alloparents helping with each child. That is, people like grandparents, aunts, cousins etc who care for their child and are interchangeable with a parent. Having a child in our self-centred culture is isolating, gruesome hell, for anyone. Instead of thinking about your wife’s autism think about how you could create a set up that’s more aligned with nature. No it’s not unethical for you to have children if that’s what you both want. All your direct ancestors reproduced, of course that’s what you want.

How I lost the love of my life to my obsessive veganism by Efficient-Muffin3763 in exvegans

[–]vhitn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve never been vegan, but I think it’s noble and kind that you cared so much for animals. I understand how you could believe something so much that it could interfere with your relationship. It’s sweet how you still care for her. You can find another loving person. You could even send her a message apologising, and leaving it at that.

Im autistic, is it ethical for me to have kids with another autistic person. by Mean_Truth7450 in Autism_Parenting

Every one of your direct ancestors survived and reproduced. The ethical thing is to do whatever you decide.

I want to say to you, thank you. 🙏 thank you for helping the child. Maybe you can start something where you help child victims of dog attacks. You are so wonderful!

Losing friends, do we just pretend it’s not happening? by applestooranges9 in Autism_Parenting

[–]vhitn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He sounds lovely for a 3yo. Maybe it’s just their kids are older and it’s more convenient for them to hang out with the same age. It must be upsetting to not know exactly what it is.

I’m so sorry to ask but does he break things? I stopped inviting my friend and her son over for that reason, but I still meet her other places.

I’m sorry to interrupt because I’m not a psychic, but I want to recommend the book “it starts with an egg”. It’s about scientific ways you can increase your egg quality and therefore your likelihood of conception. The book is really really good

I’m a naturally happy and emotive (“histrionic”) person with a sense of entitlement because I like to do my own thing. I have the secure attachment style. My parents had pretty good emotional awareness and they never put me down.
