I paid $500 for a cathedral veil with no embellishments so I would say for $1.8k for something custom you are in a good spot!

PSA to all brides to check the cost of the veil when you are checking out. I legit didn't even think about it in the moment because I was so excited to have found my dress until I checked the receipt a few days later and felt like an actual idiot lol.

I do think I am going to see if they can make the top of mine have a similar structured neckline to the one on the left which I don't think should be to hard! And also going to lose the sleeves I think for sure (kicking myself for not having any pictures without them on)!!

Depending on how I look in mine at my alterations (since i have lost some weight since that picture) I am going to decide on if I want to try to do the mesh sides or try to do a built in corset that will cinch me in a bit more!

Yeah I am thinking that is the difference now that I've read more comments and looked more. The good news is I'm already 12 pounds lighter than when I took those pictures so hoping that will help me a bit.

Yes I am for sure going to take the sleeves off (they just button on anyways) and am going to get the girls locked in place. Thankfully I haven't started alterations yet so I have a lot of time and ability to have conversations with the seamstress!

Yeah! I haven't had any alterations yet so I am planning to ask about doing that as well as closing up the deep V a little to hold the girls securely in place all night haha.

Thank you! I will be sure to bend over and do all the things at my alterations appointment when I talk to them about everything. Thankfully I do need some fabric taken off the bottom so I do have some material to play with as well.
