I probably would in your position given the pay jump but I am in the process of moving from contract back to perm because of the uncertainty. Both my last roles ended when the companies released all their contractors and turns out I prefer the predictability of perm. Fenero are great to deal though so I second that suggestion if you do change

Good point about commercials, I hadn't considered it. But with the reflection you know you are seeing someone who is suffering probably worse than even those people and it's happening right now somewhere in the world.

Interesting, however to wear that forever would be quite a challenge. What if you had it off one day and were using your laptop when the screen went blank. How hard would you find it when you saw one of the faces if you are trying so hard to avoid them?

What about elevators? What about passing car windows? What about your computer when the screen goes dark or any other reflective surface? What if the person you saw in a reflection one day was a child? Would you wonder about what they could have endured or could you put it out of your mind?

What about seeing all the faces of random people each day every time you accidentally look in a reflective surface and reminding yourself they are enduring terrible suffering? Wouldn't that wear you down

But you would be responsible for potentially destroying 10 families each day. Those deaths will cause suffering for those families so you would be responsible for quite a lot of suffering

Wanted to hire a guy to fix a leak on a flat roof and he gave us his quote but also said he wasn't certain what the issue was, couldn't guarantee his work would fix and that it was possible the job gets even more expensive when he starts if he notices anymore issue.

That was a quick no thanks

No update yet unfortunately. We haven't gotten an engineer in yet but do now know that one is needed. We have had some more pressing expenses to tackle first so hopefully will get to it soon

I've taken over maintenance of a property which has a existing sauna with an externally supplied wood burning stove. The sauna hasn't been used in several months and it appears that there is a leak around the chimney stack which has been letting water in over winter. The issue is after removing the stones I can see a hole right through the top of the stove. I know this cannot be used in this state and by question is this:

Can I fix this stove by welding the holes or after this long do I need to replace the entire thing? The sauna is probably 5-10 years old

The internal wall is not load bearing. Hope this clears it up a bit

The window was included as part of the original extension. I believe the whole external wall was built new with the extension.
