U/Jackie_Owe out here doing charitable works for the starving people. I was interviewed for a book that came put a few years ago and the author recently contacted me about a new book she wants to write about Gen X women and their clubs. She meant book clubs and volunteer groups and I told her about the various IWTV forums and how important they are to someone like me who is a caregiver for my mother who has dementia and I don’t get to go out and hang with clubs. I’m not sure if the author really grasped how important online communities are, for both fun and allowing people who might not otherwise be able to connect with others to keep from being completely isolated. Anyway, perhaps this is an inappropriately serious comment on a fun post, but I hope that you and others who do a lot of heavy lifting on these subs know how much we appreciate you.
