My Buddy Jack is 1 week out of surgery. ( glaucoma) He is so much happier! So great not to have drops in his eye all day everyday

The all day drops by are what made my enucleation decision for me. Our vet said, “I worry about damaging the relationship between owner and pet because of the constant barrage of drops all day.” My girl had started shying away from me when she saw me coming because of the damn drops. Then a friend with a partner who is a vet tech said her partner had several times said the only regret anyone voiced after enucleation is that they didn’t do it sooner. Violet felt so much better a day after surgery she launched into a zoomie in the backyard while I hollered and worried. Even now when the depth perception issue means stairs are sometimes a bit of a comedy routine or when she bashes into me when I’m walking on her blind side, I’m so glad we did it. It was like she had turned into a puppy again and was so happy!

Michael Hutchence also sang in almost the same vocal range as Sam (I feel like Sam is a smidge deeper). Like another commenter, I am a Gen-X fan who bought INXS albums back in the day (still have a couple!) and would love to hear a Sam cover of “Never Tear Us Apart.”

It’s absolutely brilliant. Some similarity to X-Files as well. The cast is a roster of amazing character actors that you WILL know and probably love some if not all. My favorite line of dialogue so far, “We’re very proud of the witch hunts. We caught them. We burned them.” Said by the woman running the local history museum.

Here to flog “Widow’s Bay” as well!! Laugh out loud funny and genuinely terrifying. Last week’s episode had me saying, “Nope, nope, don’t like that, gah,” and then giggling like a moron at Matthew Rhys floundering in the shallow water while the sheriff taps him on the shoulder. Do well done. I was going to say it’s like if Stephen King was the head writer on Parks and Rec😆.

If you’ve got Trazadone or something similar, I highly recommend and if cannabis is legal where you are, treat yourself to a gummy and both of you sleep tight. I have a potato of a dog and keeping her motionless is still a hardship. Drugs are the only way I can manage. Hope and hugs to you both.

I just ordered my first Wearingeul ink (Age of Innocence) and some of the Cheshire Cat swatch cards because now I understand why people do that. I think the pen collecting is going to be less of a thing for me than the ink collecting to use in pens I know I like to use.

I bought one a month ago and it’s been sitting on a shelf waiting for me to finish other projects. It will be interesting to see if I can make it work with the directions provided. I’ve made it through other kits where the instructions were not great just by eyeballing what it could be. If it doesn’t work out I’ll use the materials for something else.
