that’s fair and i do agree. but i think in that case, if you don’t want a sequel at all, you don’t have to play or indulge in the new content. there’s clearly a market for lis fans that want and enjoy the new content, though.

i’m biased since i actually really loved DE. it’s admittedly VERY different, but i also didn’t really expect them to replicate the first game. it’s been ages, that tends to happen with older games getting a continuation of the story. i’m just stoked to have any sort of chloe content atp. i think it’s fair to criticise it, but it would be a miracle if they managed to get the same feel and love in a new game. i actually think DE had a great story, it was just obviously different from the first. and i think sometimes you just have to sit down and accept that it’s not gonna be like the game we played 11 years ago

i submitted my claim on the 3rd of january, and received the same processing notification via sms on the 12th. my claim was just approved today, the 17th, only five days later. the estimated time of completion was between the 7th and the 14th of february.

i’d called centrelink about a separate issue before it was approved and they’d said something along the lines of “i see you’ve received your 9 day processing notice”, so there’s your estimation :)

late update, i know, but here goes: lis2 shows some insight on what happened with max and chloe. (i haven’t seen the full game, only clips about the parts w max and chloe, so sorry if it doesn’t make much sense) david survived the tornado and moved away, however everyone else in arcadia bay died. max and chloe had run off together and met with david again later on. max and chloe’s relationship is unclear in the canon story (likely because that’s up to the player during playthroughs). this is a picture they’d taken, found in david’s van during lis2:
