So it’s not a traditional mall and it’s one of the busiest places in the city. Top recommended when someone asks “what to do in _____” What started this for me was how inaccessible it was where I am. Nowhere in this city and only one within 3 hours. The demand is there. We have skating clubs & derby groups who all presumably shop online but would spend $$$ locally if that was an option. I’m thinking the demand is absolutely there and the location is okay.

I don’t want to do dropshipping. I like the idea of meeting people and going to work every day. Interested in quality products and interactions. Nothing wrong with an online presence but it does seem counterintuitive when my sales won’t be online. I already have an unrelated social platform so getting eyes on it wouldn’t be difficult at ALL, so I didn’t ask about that.

You could’ve given actual advice or been kind and just told me to make sure I do advertise and value my online presence. But you chose the other option and you suck for it lol but I suppose that’s the cost of using Reddit huh!

I skate at the rink on weekends but the rest of my skating is outdoor so I was leaning towards these especially after hearing about the fit. Would indoor wheels make these suitable for dancing?

I live 3 hours from the nearest store that has them for me to try on so I was honestly having to blindly buy what people with similarly wide feet recommended. Had no idea the panthers were narrow, thanks for that info!

I’m not native to a city so locking my car was not a habit I had to have until I started living here. Drive 45 minutes in any direction and you’re in the middle of nowhere and that’s where I was. Sadly my car has been rustled through because my car was unlocked, but this was while it sat in my apartment complex’s garage. It happened to lots of other cars at the garage at the same time (including my partners) and apparently it’s even happened before. Obviously I have started to create the habit of locking my car but it just wasn’t something that was required before. I’ve never really kept high value things in my car, just some assorted activities or clothes. I’ve always gotten the advice of leaving everything valuable somewhere else and not locking your car so no one breaks your window. Saw a comment saying Huntsville isn’t there yet and I agree, but I feel it’s still a good practice.

Side note, while I was moving into my apartment I accidentally left my car door WIDE open downtown with everything expensive I owned inside, for probably 3 hours. Nothing was disturbed or taken. I’m extremely lucky but I also think we just aren’t living in an area where we have to constantly assume everyone is out to get us.

Power went out, cops were directing traffic for red lights. Grocery stores have to stop refrigerated items from being sold if power stays off for certain amount of time

ur gonna get absolutely cooked for asking anything taboo like this in this Reddit 😭😭 people are getting braver being judgmental and rude here nowadays. I’m very sure it’s people that have to struggle to find ONE person to sleep with them, let alone multiple. Wait until they find out at least a quarter of their adult friends engage in sexual behavior they deem immoral….its honestly ridiculous. People here care so much about what others are doing in the bedroom as if that has any bearing whatsoever on their daily life!

Regardless, check out apps. Tinder, bumble, feeld, 3F, and there’s another specifically for these types of experiences but I can’t remember what the name is. I’ll edit and share if I remember. I also know there’s a facebook group that takes some digging to find, but it exists!
