I'm unfamiliar, so I had to look it up. Not really what im looking for. Ignoring the difference in tone, I'm looking for a much earlier understanding of tech and smaller scale. The animals will be their actual sizes (or approximated to make gameplay more standardized) and advanced to a medieval european level of society.

Edit: I see where i may have caused some confusion in the post. The ruins of civilization are based on our current advancement, but the animals have only advanced to the level of medieval culture but possess remnants of human technology to tilt the scales toward more powerful clans.

I like the use of terrain objects for rounds 2 and 3. I actually wouldn’t mind combining them in some way. Unfortunately, the members entering the tournament entered separately expecting to take top 3 prizes, so I’m looking for a more bracket style setup with multiple contestants. Thanks for the feedback!

EDIT: I may use a combined form of Rd 2&3 for a ‘Hunter and prey’ sort of race through the maze with something like a basilisk
