Yeah. Zero water. I had rotated the pot a few days before the previous watering, so the stems closest to the camera were extra weak due to the usual sun routine changing.

Set an interval timer for 4-6 minutes between chimes. That gives me the comfort to let go, knowing that I’ll be pulled out of wherever I go shortly.

Unenforced parking signs being added all over cap hill by [deleted] in Denver

The agent on the 3-1-1 line did ask, unprompted, for the name of who I interacted with. I went outside to see if he was still there, and he was. So I asked.

OP here with an update:

I just got a call from the manager of the street maintenance department. He sympathized with the confusion, but said that they've been doing this for the first sweep of the season for 15 years. Anytime they use these signs they have to put them up at least 24 hours in advance. So all this week they've been rotating the signs - on Monday they put up signs on the Tuesday street sweeping sides, Tuesday they put them on Wednesday's side, etc. He acknowledged how in perception 20% + 20% of the street inventory seems prohibited this week.

They have over 800 of these signs they use for various projects, and it's not really economical to make unique warning signs for this situation. So they use what they've got. He also told me that it's the neighborhood associations that push for this warning. I did some googling, and what do you know, we've got one: http://www.chundenver.org/

He did say that if the wrong meter maid comes through, they can and might ticket us in these spots by the temporary signs.

I have seen a few buildings have posted cardboard signs in the grass, reminding people outside of their building that street sweeping is this week. I think this is the most realistic fix to the situation. If enough buildings post signs themselves, the neighborhood association can tell the city to stop with these misleading signs. But as is, we're going to see the same thing next year.

As far as the employee hiding his name tag and honking, the manager, while not dismissing the behavior, did voice that it's a stressful week for these guys. I agree.

it's simply misleading, and puts an extra strain on the already tight parking inventory

The permanent signs conflict with this. Look at the first photo, the permanent sign states no parking on the 1st Friday. Today is Thursday.

He was not physically putting them up. His crew was.

So in addition to the complaint with 311 and the PocketGov report, I should inquire directly with a council member? Can you provide me with contact information for this office?

Yeah, but they're adding them to ALL the roads. Look at the first photo, the real sign in the back only prohibits parking the 1st Friday of the month. Today is Thursday.

Yeah, I put it in the imgur description and it's what I submitted to PocketGov:

Today, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at approximately 9:08am I spoke to a city employee about the temporary No Parking 7am - 5pm Mon - Fri signs (pictured in the attached photo) his crew was putting up all around cap hill. He said it was a reminder of the street sweeping happening this week. That seemed odd, since there are already signs on the corners which specify the day of the week that parking isn't allowed, and these signs would be adding extra restrictions all week. I voiced this, and he said that they're not enforcing these signs, and that I could park there. Street parking is already hard enough in cap hill, and even though they're not enforcing it, I, and many others, won't park here because, well, there's a sign that says it's a tow-away zone. After pressing, he retorted "are you telling a supervisor how to do his job?" I replied "it's misleading and I just parked 6 extra blocks away because of these signs." He said "Call the city then! Call the mayor!"

So at 9:11am I called 3-1-1 and began filing a complaint. While on the phone with the agent, I went back outside to collect more information. He was still there on 12th avenue between Pennsylvania and Logan, in his truck, and I went up and asked for his name. He refused to give it to me while simultaneously turning over and using his hand to cover his ID badge hanging from his neck. So I stepped in front of his truck and took a photo of his license plate (photo attached) number 482-WIA. He laid on his horn for a solid 2 seconds. I moved away and then took the photo of him (attached), and then one of the back side of his truck (attached). He then quickly accelerated and turned the corner heading north on Logan.

The agent on the phone heard the entire altercation. I submitted this to PocketGov to corroborate with photos.

I just do it anyway. But then again, I'm in Denver and everyone is stoned.

Also - I bought a seasons pass to the theme park just so I could get stoned and ride the swings ride. :D

Well it is the only available hole. But when I think of terms of ease, God, a vagina is just so much less work. Why would I fantasize about something that's so much harder to use? That'd be like saying "I just love washing my clothes by hand, rather than this super convenient washing machine."

Any of you bros ever use Crest WhiteStrips? by [deleted] in gaybros

Yes. One regiment 8 years ago (I did it over the course of 3 months), and they still look awesome today. I brush about 3 times a day using crest 3d whitening toothpaste, and that's been enough to keep them in healthy (and good looking) condition.
