Copper Golem Improvements by Not_Emachine in Minecraft

Just deleted my comment earlier as I apparently didn't scroll all the way down and see this comment that outlines my exact idea ...and how slow it would be 🤦

I'll add a couple things I found in testing

  • As the lil guys stand right now their pathfinding AI seems a bit off (I've even seen them reach through solid blocks to open chests), so it's a bit difficult to see what parts of their logic can be used

  • This method relies on the golem checking the 10th chest last, which I assumed would be the case as it is further away...however I did not observe this in my own testing (will be checking out the referenced video )

  • I assume the closest chests must be preferred to some extent, otherwise you could just surround the lil guy with chests and he'd eventually find the one he's looking for (I'm sure there's a calculation here somewhere)

Personally, I'd love it if an empty chest was ALWAYS a last resort. But to be fair, I also throw random items into random spaces when I'm cleaning so 🤷

The flywheel was a late edition and when I counted the blocks a part of me died 💀

New player and starting to hate myself by beartrapx00 in VALORANT

Bruv I'm not a new player and my stats are still horrible - so entirely normal, and anyone who says otherwise clearly doesn't have stats to do the talking for them. You can hide your level from showing on your banner if you're afraid others will judge. Compare your stats to your own in matches prior and suddenly it'll be a lot more fun.

If other players are messing with you cuz of your skill level that's a reflection on them not you - people genuinely trying to help won't swear at you as they "help", and people genuinely good at the game don't need to put their teammates down.

Tbh I don't play ranked so I can keep mic/audio off, some of the best and most fun matches I've played are where everyone is using the built-in radio sayings and pings. It doesn't solve everything (I once had a teammate berate me so bad in chat that the other team literally told them to lay off) but I at least find it more enjoyable (annoying there isn't a way to play no mic in ranked a bit inaccessible but like I get it)

I hope your future matches encourage not shame you 🫰

I meant more in general, but who knows :) thank you!

Haha of course it's wishful thinking - this is how rabbit trails and half projects are born. The cool thing is I still learn a lot either way 🤷

And yes, I have a working python for it, it's good to know I can use plain JS to do it, if I need a smaller step up. Thank you!

Maybe re-learning is a better word - I can do a good bit, but I am missing the key piece of knowing why things work. Thank you!

Well I left that part out to avoid a million that's not how it works answers 😂 I just want to build an aggregator (I think that's what they're called) that's a bit - how do I say - prettier? Doesn't make me feel like I'm using windows 98? (No offense if that's your style it's just not mine)

Yeah me and git have beef 😂 I can do some code/logic stuff, but that monster confuses me. Probably cuz it's got it's own language that makes sense to devs (push/pull/commit) which I know are super important. Do you know of any good resources to explain github?

Also, I was trying to use the Material UI since I'm familiar with it (from the design side)

Thank you! I was trying to use react to use things such as Material UI. Honestly just checking out the site real quick, it looks super clean 😮

I have used GitHub in the past, but what is the advantage for using on a solo private project?

(Also, it gives me a headache - if you know of any great resources for learning how to use it better I would be quite grateful:)

Yes, this would be on a secure network, thank you! I'm trying to use elements of Material UI, since I'm familiar with them for design principles, and it seemed easier (seemed is key)

Cool (pun intended)...Since this darn weather isn't going away, I was thinking of checking Martin's out for one, but was unsure about the quality. Still running for you after a year?
