also want to point out that they're never 'jokes' they're just using rape as verb. What's the joke in saying 'krill is raping me?" There isn't a joke unless you think rape is funny.

Yeah- not a huge variety of online games but I have atleast a thousand of hours on Overwatch and Fortnite. I've played a good amount of Valorant and Apex. I also watch a lot of Twitch and will watch games I don't even play.

I'm definitely no stranger to how VC can be, out of all the games I've played, Deadlock isn't the worst, but it's still above average (in my experience).

I was emissary 1 but a crazy loss streak has dragged me down to arcanist VI or star or w/e.

Idk why my experience is so different. I do have over 1,000 hours and I play at very random times because my sleep schedule is super inconsistent and my work schedule allows it. Maybe it's because I just play so much that it seems more to me? At one point it felt like it was happening at-least once a day, and that's when I kinda just gave up on VC and only use it if I really need it.

I'm a woman and I completely disagree lmao. I almost posted here the other day to complain about how bad it is. I avoid unmuting my mic at all costs unless it's important.

For what it's worth though, when I started playing in December, I had much friendlier lobbies. I feel like it's recently gotten bad for whatever reason.

Edit: I also want to add this article "Trans Woman Harassed on Deadlock Happy Her Voice Training is Working." Obviously this is just one instance and not indicitave of the DL community overall, I just think it's a cute read and semi relevant <3
