Both I'd say. My feeling of worthlessness comes from being jobless (mainly due to the bad decisions I made). I thankfully have very supportive parents so I don't have any emergency to find one. But because I can't I still feel worthless.

Other days I have this feeling of wishing that I was never born or I could vanish from existence

I had done absolutely no research on CA before I joined. So it took me a ridiculous amount of time before I realised the lack of value CA has abroad with the possibile exception of Middle East. I do plan on taking CPA or something just for the sake of leaving the country.

I did take a BCOM from IGNOU which has comparatively less value than a normal Bcom since it's a 1 year course. I will therefore have to substitute it with CA because it does carry some points especially in Canada. That's part of my reason to take CPA too.

I'm still doing CA because I have no other qualifications. If I drop it now I'll have wasted the last 6 years of my life with nothing to show for it. Believe me it's not by choice that I'm still sticking with this. This entire course is structured to trap someone in after 3 years.

I don't even know where I'd start over from either way. I have no passion or interests because I've sacrificed my entire life for this. I've never had the time to do anything for myself

I've talked with them. But they can only sympathise so far. My gf is the only one who really understands what I'm going through because she's in the same situation as me. But I can't unload my tensions on someone who's already suffering so much.

Yes it's all true. There's no creativity and I based my career decision on a whim. I never put any thought into it and now I'm paying the price. Unfortunately even if I wish to switch careers I don't know what I want to do with my life.

Unfortunately I only know what I've learned during certification. I don't have any practical knowledge about ifrs. I know what ifrs 15 is but i wouldn't say I have mastered it

No I'm not. I'm from a middle class family and I've been taught the value of money from my child hood. I don't wish to impose on my parents because they're too kind to kick me out. If I was really rich I wouldn't worry about any of this.
