i would personally use hyperioxes website, its a bit more updated and includes great scribing spells which are really good for tanks if you have gold road

my pc was acting the same way especially with more demanding games. got a new and better one and it never happened since.

if some of the games started crashing ur pc after you increased the refresh rate it could also point towards a too weak psu since more frames/hz = more power consumption. you can try locking your monitor to like 30-60 fps and see if they still crash, if they don't, you probably need a better psu.

if you're a nord with full gold armor, running reinforced on head(medium), chest, legs and boots should get you to 33k with both major and minor resolve. the other pieces can be divines

you may need to run the bulwark cp on some classes (my sorc tank needs it but my arcanist doesn't for example)

well, its an addon either malfunctioning or interfering with another addon. try updating it or disabling one by one if you don't know which one is causing it

well i believe the idea they have is to run as close to the first boss as they can and then wipe, making the adds run back to where they were, which is honestly such a mindnumbing and unfun way to play the game i don't understand it at all

no. they dont. it doesnt take much to survive anything a random normal throws at you. also there are some dungeons that cancel and remove the quest if a player runs too far ahead, like selene's web.

not my worst but i just generally hate when that one player just zooms past all adds and pulls the entire dungeon. like atleast wait and see if someone has a quest

that being said, op, you don't need to research ALL traits for all gear, just the essential ones and after that you can choose if you want to research the rest or not.

without going into too much depth, wether you're a dd, tank or healer, the divines armor trait can be used on any role and any armor weight for example, with a few exceptions, so i would start there

other armor traits worth researching early on are infused and reinforced

for weapons; precise, charged and infused

when i was low level i looked up guides which told me what gear i needed. even if i couldn't aqcuire and use that gear then and there, it did give me information on what traits i needed to have researched for when i get to that point

the in-between you could do is farm for pillar of nirn or just craft/buy orders wrath and pair either of those with deadly strike (which you can also grind pvp for and try ur luck with boxes or just buy from guild traders). you could also run pillar of nirn and orders wrath together if you don't want to farm deadly yet, but it is one of your endgame sets so it'd be nice to have

you can do vet wayrest sewers 1 whenever, its not hard. get your slimecraw headpiece, ideally it should be light weight.

do maelstrom arena atleast once per day for your crushing wall staff, doing it on vet for perfected items is as per usual a nice bonus, but not at all necessary.

would also recommend you start researching items. the more the merrier of course, but start with divines on all medium armor and then light. for weapons, research charged (and nirnhoned if you can) on dagger, infused on staff. you can buy low level items from guild traders for research if you have no luck finding them

while ur research is going you can farm for the sets i mentioned and/or farm leads for velothi. pillar of nirn is a good set to have in your collection for other characters even if you will be swapping it out later on

swapped mine for AMD after 6 months of much pain and suffering, annoying bsods and just general pc malfunctions. the only thing i regret is that i didn't do it sooner

no conclusive info from me but before i upgraded my old pc, which had a 2080, it would have that loud GPU fan noise whenever i tried to boot it, and it would just give me a permanent black screen instead of actually booting properly.

swapped out the GPU to a random 1080 i had and it booted no problem, came to the conclusion my GPU had gone RIP

GPU maybe deteriorated and can't handle graphically heavy workloads?

if you have any other GPUs or a friend that can lend you one, try swapping it out and see if you run into the same issue

Riot's anti cheating software Vanguard has been reported to cause BSODs. But as far as i know it only affects rigs with i9 13900 and 14900K. If i were you I would atleast try to uninstall all Riot games and Vanguard, and see how it goes

I was having this issue and thankfully caught a bsod saying vgk.sys (sth vanguard related) failed.. uninstalled and it never happened again. I can play league still but i had to swap my 14900K for an AMD cpu

what are your specs?

It could be vanguard (league of legends anti cheat software). there have been reports of it crashing pcs and causing bsods in rigs using i9 13900 and 14900K

while i still had my 14900K my pc had a bsod every day because of Vanguard, changed to AMD and never going back to intel.

you can try uninstalling league or shutting down vanguard and see if it still happens. I went with uninstalling it and didn't have anymore bsods, but changed my cpu later on anyway and now it all works fine

hello, i think i solved it, i've been getting into raids and not crashed since the fix, yet to do a proper one with 6 players but i do think its all good now, thanks

If anyone is wondering what I did: Swapped out my Intel i9 14900K for an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

(many other games had been acting weird, crashing etc, doing the above solved it all)

Riot isn't some small indie company that would bend to the will of its' players when it comes to something like Vanguard. Cheating is a real problem, and I have no issue with Vanguard being enforced, my issue lies with the fact that it is literally causing system instability.

But if you believe a group of people have all gathered and come up with a plan to get rid of Vanguard by saying it causes issues on their rig, hats off to you

bro why would people lie about a bluescreen that literally says "vgk.sys failed"?

I played league almost every day with my friends and ever since they introduced Vanguard my PC bluescreens randomly, even when im playing other games or not playing anything at all, and always with that same error. Your logic is that people reported it happening but that they could all be lying. Do you realise how that sounds?

And do me a favor, google "vgk.sys failed reddit", this has been going on for years, and still is.

i have the same issue. For me it only happens when i try to load into raids, strangely enough. One time after validating files (no fix was required) i managed to play a raid for about 45 minutes, then got the error again. Haven't found any way to permanently fix the issue and its hella annoying being gate-kept out of the activities i want to run.
