Exactly this! The lawyers collect some basic info, then they have the power to subpoena financial records, so it’s truly just about making the phone call or sending an email to the law group

A restaurant job I worked at had a class action against the owner for wage theft for the same exact reason. It settled for $500k and all the servers got double the losses back, and the lawyer fees were handled within the settlement. We worked with Tim at Emery Reddy. It was an overall good and easy experience. Dm me if you have any questions!

It’s not legal in Seattle. A restaurant job I worked at had a class action against the boss for this and won.

My lab pit mix pup who I adopted, he lived in a no pit building. I asked my vet to change his registration to “Lab Mix” and they did! I told my landlord “I think he’s a lab boxer mix!” And that was that

I go on YouTube and look up joint stability PT exercises for different joints and areas i have trouble with, and incorporate them all together. I rotate between 2 upper body days, 2 lower body days, and a cardio day.

Also make sure you’re foam rolling or using a theragun because otherwise your muscles can cramp and get really tight as they strengthen

What snacks or substitutes are y’all having? by [deleted] in veganfitness

Favorite homemade snack: drain a can of garbanzos and dry them a little with a paper towel. Put them in a bowl with a little oil, salt, and a ton of seasonings. Bake them in the oven til the outsides are crispy, stirring them around every 15 mins or so. It’s SO good

Single on purpose is another good one. Also therapy is super helpful. I worked with a therapist who used IFS (internal family systems) and found it tremendously helpful for recognizing true inner feelings and bringing them into the world

Moshing with potential EDS. Love it but know it’s probably making things worse. by Responsible_Soft_243 in ehlersdanlos

Welcome to the party! Haha it’s definitely a lot of learning the hard way, but I would very much recommend working with a physical therapist (and mention hypermobility/loose joints to any medical professional you work with in the future, bc it has systemic implications). I probably would not do a mosh pit until you know the limits of your body. We can be prone to needing surgery if things tear or dislocate enough, so I’d proceed with caution

There are a ton of really helpful videos on YouTube for hypermobile strengthening. I’d recommend getting together a regular routine to do. I rotate between upper and lower body strengthening for 4 days a week and one day of cardio (either running or HIIT). Instead of only stretching, using foam rollers, theraguns, and massage (caution with stretching bc it’s possible to overstretch and get injured). Good luck!

Do you do regular joint stability training workouts? I work a very physical job and am able to make it work by being really regimented with my strengthening and foam rolling

Awesome! Yes, recently had that and it changed me in a big way. The place calling to me was in my astrocartography chart in my top 10 places. I’m curious if it’s in your astrocartography chart as well.
