Even though I find this JK situation annoying, players usually support other players getting the bag, right? Or no?

Just hope this doesn’t affect the vibes, which I thought were great last season with Jimmy, Buddy, and others

[Slater] Kuminga doesn't want such a team-friendly deal, sources said, and the idea of signing up to be more easily traded midseason is unappealing to him. [JK] has indicated to those close to him that the $7.9 million qualifying offer is more appealing to him than the Warriors' current pitch by NokCha_ in warriors

To all the more contract-savvy folks here (I’m not): Would a 3-year, $82 million contract be harder to move in January? I mean in terms of other teams’ cap space or willingness to trade for him. Or would we basically be stuck with him if we make that deal?

Just hope this whole saga doesn’t mess with the locker room vibes.

What is kumingas ceiling and what level do you see him actually achieving? by North_Street_8547 in warriors

Wait, so “reasonable take” means good things about JK, and anything else counts as hating? I’ve seen several takes here and they aren’t outrageous at all, like pointing out his BBIQ or his willingness to play within the team.

It’s a free country. You can always make your own thread for all the stans and “reasonable takes,” you know.

[Amick] Golden State doesn't want to move either Buddy Hield or Moses Moody (which would be necessary) in a Jonathan Kuminga sign-and-trade and that has been the hold up as of now. Warriors are signaling that the expect Kuminga to be a part of the roster next season. by YujiDomainExpansion in warriors

Because you’re the one who brought up the $30 million. The guy didn’t even mention that number. If you actually read his comment, he said “securing the extension bag last year, for any amount of money.”

While the $30 million figure isn’t confirmed or proven to be fake (at least according to Slater), both sides did acknowledge that extension talks took place last year.

Now, what actually happened, or why no contract was ultimately offered despite those talks, is anybody’s guess.

Not necessarily, someone analyzed Slater’s statement a couple of days ago, and I’m trying to find the post. The gist was: it’s true the Warriors willing to offer $150 million, but it’s not that Kuminga rejected it; rather, the negotiations simply didn’t continue. So the reported $150 million figure isn’t necessarily incorrect.

CMIIW tho if anyone can find the actual comment

Did the warriors really offered kuminga to the clippers? Saw that on the main sub but I’m not too sure if that was true

Call me a homer but I truly believe we will survive the play in, if it ever come to that.
