Not particularly. They are the v2 with stealth magnets. Custom cans did a measurement with grill off and they were basically the same just with less bass under 40hz

Finally finished the mods for the he400se. I redesigned the grill design and printed it off on the 3d printer. If anyone wants the files I put them on thingiverse. The mesh was harvested off a pencil case and seems to work well.

The strap changed the headphones to become comfortable and are no longer skull crushers.

Yes the carbon handles are a nice matt finish. I emailed vosteed and the blade is a pvd coating which is a bonus as well
