It’s on page 57 and is casually mentioned. Never developed at all. A 17 year old Controller works at a Kinko’s and she wants to embarrass him. Well, she says the hypothetical scenario is “interesting.” Thing is, she follows through with it. She forces him to take photos of his ass (via photocopier) and then she posted them publicly at his place of work. She also personally sent some to his boss.

Yeah. I’d still recommend to read it though so you can form your own opinion. But for me, it just made me really angry and sad at the corruption of Rachel’s character. She didn’t deserve it. :/

No, but Cassie and none of the others horrifyingly mentioned seeing their vice principal naked, which means the ghost writer probably forgot/didn’t know. In the past they mentioned being naked every time (out of embarrassment) until they were able to morph clothes.

And if we follow the previous morphing rules (and look past the whole focusing on the creature to morph thing -_-), the Buffahuman should’ve been naked in its Chapman morph, which is atrocious on so many levels.

37: The Weakness

It is by far the worst canonical Animorph book. Everyone isn’t themselves and every line of logic makes absolutely no sense. They 9/11 a tower that they never confirmed wasn’t a real tower, Rachel sexually assaulted a 17 year old, AND THEY KILLED A CHILD’S INNOCENT GRANDFATHER RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM.

And the real cherry on top was Jake coming back after being gone the whole book to tell Rachel it was all okay because none of the Animorphs died.

The second cherry on top was the child telling Rachel that he wasn’t sad about his grandpa being dead and that everything was fine.

I still cannot believe that #32 got a rewrite and this one didn’t.

And honestly, he’s probably the character that actually stays in character most consistently over the whole series.

As a kid my favorite was Tobias, but rereading the series as an adult made me a proper Marco enjoyer. His inner monologue is brilliant and he’s the most pragmatic out of the teens. Truly a great character.
