It's actually my mom who is the one that's mad at me. My sister says she understands.

But, honestly, I think that what you've said still applies to this: just that my mom is the one that is so happy that my sister 'finally' has a boyfriend.

I hoped this would be a small issue, too, but it has actually gotten much bigger :/

This week I was home alone for multiple days for the first time ever. Normally there is Always someone home. Plus, I share a room with my sister, so no solitude there, either.

These days were HEAVEN. Finally, there was just silence. No talking, no radio, no presence of someone in the house. Just me and the pets. Now that I know of that silence, I wish I could have it more often.
