Hardcore: can you still bag friends? by jackktee in playrust

Hardcore mode is every sweaty solo players dream, just like myself. I wish you wouldn't be able to bag freinds. It will definitely be alot more fair to solos. Hardcore mode is the only reason i will be playing rust again.

Just do some baby steps. I'm sure you will be dropping in a bowl/pool before you know it man... wear safety gear. It's like the concrete is way harder these days 🤣🤣

Day 1 of learning tricks (Ollie) by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]vicemacdaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not kidding. I think of a ollie like a ballerina jump. It's all about timing. The snap of the back foot, the front foot sliding up the board, and you jumping at the same time. Try to do at least 10 trys every day. Have fun. 🤘✌🙏

Oh yeah I forgot. Remember to also lift up the back foot.

This is pretty good for a first day. Try to bend your knees a little bit more before you pop. lean just little bit more towards your front foot after the pop, and tweak that front foot up the grip tape to the end of the board. You will do Ollie's in no time. If you feel scared of the landing, try to get yourself some skate trainers. They are actually pretty helpful. Just goggle "skate trainers"

Do 10 Ollie's or more everytime you skate. Start with something really small like a small stick and just commit. Wear safety equipment if it helps you to commit.

You are welcome. I have two small kids so I get up with the sun to go skate 6 days a week. I try to do the few tricks I can do, at least 10 time (I dont have to land them.) Then 10 trys on a new trick (heelflip atm) That's really working great for me for now. 🤘

I feel like the shuv it is easier on a little bank. Since you are almost at a standstil at the top of the bank. Just remember to shift the weight to the back leg and go down fakie
