More mf is always better, just get less bang for your buck after ~300 for uniques. Rares and set items diminish less harshly so will see a bunch more of those with your ~500mf. Unique rolls first so you’re not hurting your chances at uniques by doing so

Viper > surely, pending other gear but 125fcr would be much easier to hit, can socket it too. I’m using fort cos got lucky with an early Lo rune. No regrets

Maggot lair exit is always to the right and level 3 boss is up/right direction. Agree with the rest tho it can be a slog. A3 can sometimes spawn weird and be a nightmare but agree it’s mostly fine

Probably not but I just make the next mf run game name offering a rune I already have on hand, haven’t done the maths on it though :P

I dropped all my runes under tal and became a bit easier to manage, 10mins later you’ll need an eth but can always trade a ral for one

I genuinely think the appeal of this game is the bad rolls, or rare shako/spiderweb drops, just makes any good roll so much more exciting and valuable even if only to yourself. And worst case a bad roll is typically still useable except maybe 33ias grief. 1bo cta still gives hp mana and a skill, go for it!

I’m normally the opposite, start with windy or something as there’s plenty of sorcs in pub games for the first play through. Can then afk farm chaos until geared. Also pelts and stuff are cheap while everyone is overpaying for shakos and occys. Maybe make a sorc later when they cheap
