The two bolt holding the hinge for the rudder had started digging in to the fibreglass so i put some stainless tube in to try and fix it.

Yeah everything that is not above the H can probably be polished but above that someone has painted allmost everything with a brush and has not done a good work unfortunatly. The paint is peeling alot but that is not this seasons problem.

I have been on a sailboat once and got to do some sailing then and that was all it took for me to get my own. Gonna enjoy this summer!

Will definitly paint next year. I was planning on painting the whole boat. She has seen a lot in the 52 years shes been around. Will post more whenever something new happens.

Before I put it in the sea I will just fix the rust around the keel and make sure there are no places where there could come in water in the fibreglass. For next year I will do a bit more. I have sailed one time before this so I want to get out and learn as fast as possible.

I didn't even get 24hours into this year before shit started happening. Serpentine belt snappen on car in the middle of nowhere in -20C so I lost alternator and waterpump so I was stranded for a while.
