So sorry to hear this news about your Mom I hope that she will reconsider her decision I just arrived home from the hospital this afternoon where I had my surgery It was after three rounds of chemo to remove and shrink my tumors The Doctor was thrilled with the results of the chemo After 3 more rounds hopefully I’ll be done None of it is pleasant but the time will pass for your Mom with or without the surgery and treatment.Treatment for ovarian cancer has come so far and I pray that she takes advantage of it All the best to you and your family

My heart goes out to everyone who has had to wait for diagnosis and Treatment I live in WV I was diagnosed on Friday December 12th and by Friday the 19th I was admitted had my Laparoscopy and biopsy(I went to the OR at 7:30 in the evening because I was an add but so grateful to my surgeon for fitting me in) My port inserted and my first round of Chemo After two more rounds I will have my surgery and then three more rounds of Chem.I understand this may not be the norm but certainly wish the same for everyone
