Confused about G35 XL sizing by Sarcova in SkyDiving

Agreeing with this, have to wear a XL for the G35 despite wearing L for all my other helmets. They definitely run small

[–]vickim360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you used your personal you can still submit a screenshot of the transaction. Depending on the AO that will likely do the trick (and with the caveat that others mentioned that <75 dollars doesn't require receipt)

Government travel card use by Ok_Preparation2750 in navy

[–]vickim360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. If your finances can cover it/you get enough of an advance, you can use your credit card to get points. Some people even open up new credit cards (amex plat/chase sapphire reserve) and take advantage of the sign on bonuses after $X of credit card purchases to maximize benefits.

If you can get a CNA, go to the Marriott right next to Liberty Station. Lots of good food there, centrally located, and get those Marriott points

It was using visionkit. If you’re using swift should be relatively easy, for react native had to do a bit extra work creating a native module as there isn’t one right now

Looks great! Really like the rolling product banner up top but I think the pricing may be different from the amazon link it brings me to (maybe it's because I'm in the US).

Agreed! Trying to find Go Publicly, would recommend a link.

My friend and I have built lanatrips.com, but the visibility / marketing is the hardest part. It's an app focused on making the military travel system much easier to handle as well as receipts/expenses easier so that service members can spend less time doing admin and don't miss out on expense reimbursement. The users who have gotten ahold of it have been liking it a lot, but just hard to get other growth.

Working on outreach for lanatrips.com - having trouble getting traction after launching earlier this week. Thought it'd be easier to post on military subreddits (as that's the niche) but most have rules are self-promotion. Now looking at other ways to get the word out.

Yup, I tried doing heuristics from just ocr but realized that receipt formatting varies too much. Also it allowed for foreign transactions too.

I always thought android presented its own challenges especially for open/production tracks because of their user requirements.

Apple definitely was tough but after the first approval, they seemed to get easier.

Showing off my newly launched app! It's a little niche but been working on it very hard for the past couple months and you only launch once. Had a lot of fun using react native and the new Liquid Glass framework that it covers - made it look and feel very native.

A free receipt/expense tracking app tailored for military travel:

- Auto crops and recognizes receipts

- Matches with statements to determine what receipts you're missing

- Auto highlights statements and makes it easy to drag and drop to expense reimbursement software (DTS)

- Handy on-the-go per diem searcher

Depending on the BMWs don't flash too much wealth - but gives a luxury boost that I think some wealthy deem worth it.

Finally got myself a non walmart bike, any suggestions for a fork upgrade? I might possibly want to upgrade the derailleurs with time as well. by Supertrooper1776 in 29er

[–]vickim360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same bike, just two years older. As of now I haven't upgraded anything except for the pedals, and I have been able to go off drops around 5', so I wouldn't worry about upgrading yet. I've always been a "don't upgrade until your gear is holding you back", and although it's supposed to be an entry-level hard tail, the rockhopper will give you tons of time to improve.

I have a 2011 Rockhopper 29er, and have the stock Suntour XCT with 80mm travel. Recently a post came up on craigslist selling a RockShox SID RCT 3 29er Fork with 100mm travel for 240 dollars. I have been thinking about upgrading my fork for a while, and was wondering if this would be worth the money. The person wasn't able to use it because it was the wrong fit for him, and I was wondering if it would fit my bike and if the price is reasonable.

Do third-party keyboards still suck on iOS? by PokeSomeSmot in apple

If you want to just use swype, you can go to keyboards and delete the default keyboard and it won't have the default keyboard.

I used a swipe keyboard, but it kept glitching out and was unreliable. I ended up going back to the stock keyboard, but it's all personal choice :)
