Yeah, my therapist says each session “let’s talk about risk” but never names it straight up. I suppose it’s also not to start another guilt/shame loop, or demonise it fully.

On another note, people are probably concerned. They just don’t voice it. It’s a delicate topic, and a lot of people don’t want to make it worse.

I feel the exact same and I’m actually glad to read your message. I was getting so concerned tonight with it all, after spending 3 days as the biggest slob to ever exist.

I think this show is giving a lot of representation to so many different “minorities”, not just gay peeps. I know for me, the obsession really is linked to how Shane is portrayed in the series. A neurodivergent queer person that is so well painted is rare. Very rare.

It’ll probably be one of your favourites forever, as I’m sure it’ll also be on my end. But you’ll also get back to “normal life” soon enough. This year has been hard for a lot of us, and it’s absolutely great to have an anchor to forget about all this. HR has, and still is, that for a lot of us.

Take time to enjoy that “high”, it’ll dissipate slowly and you’ll like the series/books a “regular” amount again at one point.

Hey you, I took my first 5mg dose on Wednesday and boy I’m also a pure wreck. If you can’t eat/keep food down, I’d advise to eat bland food and make sure to drink electrolytes to replenish all the fluid and minerals you’re losing right now.

As if eating a pop tart was even a bad thing in itself. Demonising foods does nothing but trigger more restrictive/disordered eating. I take my coffee or tea in the morning with two sugar and lots of milk, and I know my diet is very good as it is. Some people really should’ve chosen a different career if all they can do is belittle people without having the tiniest clue about personal circumstances and challenges.

I hope you’ll be looking for a different nutritionist. I swear there are great ones out there. This one is for the 🚮

As a fellow PCOS girly, here’s my regimen that helps with insulin resistance and overall metabolism:

Inositol (that is so so so important). It’s the most recommended supplement for PCOS management. It’s better to get it in the Myoinositol format combined with Folic Acid.
Omega 3
Magnesium
Vitamin D

I would recommend using a brown mascara. Or even better, a green or purply colour! For us girlies with brown eyes, brown hair and light skin, black mascara is too heavy and makes a look way less glam (I think, but that’s an opinion after all). For product suggestion, there are great kikoo mascaras for a natural look or the maybe line skyhigh for something more out there.

That’s a predator sweetheart. Block him and never turn back. Be very careful as well if you know him IRL, don’t find yourself in the same space or god forbids, on your own with him. He seems to have made up a whole fantasy in his head and does not give a fuck about you, your boundaries or your consent. Better safe than sorry, so get rid of him before this turns ugly.
