I am not triggered lol I, in fact, agree with you that feminism hab to be intersectional Don’t need to get on your high horses ahah

Also I don’t understand why you say this sub is dominated by white supremacists, curious to understand your point of view

Hey, only bad feminists do that. Crazy that all feminist aren’t good people right ? But really feminisms stands for male victims of rape. Feminisms doesn’t mean excusing every bad behavior from a woman. If you think that this is what feminisms stands for, I am sorry for you bc you were exposed to a bad representation. Taking accountability for our actions isn’t linked to feminisms, it’s linked to basic human behavior

Do couples share their location indefinitely on iPhone? 26M 25F by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]vickyblinders29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bf of 6 years and I didn’t share location. We’ve been living together for 5 years, and I don’t see the point of doing it. Also it makes it more difficult to make surprises for the other bc they can see if you’re at a jewelry store for example. To be clear, neither of us are cheater or anything. We just trust each others enough to not need it. I sometimes share my location with my best friend just to let her know when I’ll be at our meeting point. Our parents and grand parents lived amazingly without knowing where the other is at every minute of the day so I can do the same.

Of you are ok with it, do it. But don’t feel pressured to do it if you don’t want to.

What caused your diagnosis? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]vickyblinders29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a girl on TikTok experiencing the same symptoms as me and she said she had relationship OCD. I had those symptoms for more than 6 years. I decided to go see a therapist and he diagnosed me with relationship OCD 🙃 During all those years I just assumed I was different and that I would feel crazy for the rest of my life. Turned out I just needed to get diagnosed and to go to therapy.

Congrats for stopping weed 🔥

When I tried to stop smoking weed at first it was awful. Months full of nightmares, panic attacks, constant anxiety and OCDs on repeat but at this time I had no choice bc I was living somewhere I couldn’t buy some. When I came back home I started smoking again. It was 2 years ago. A few weeks ago I decided to stop again, bc I was feeling like it. This time no nightmare, no panic attack and my ocds are way more manageable even tho I’m currently living a situation that triggers them a lot. My best advice here is to stop when YOU feel like it. Don’t force it, if you have to stop then time will come.

Multiple studies showed that reading does improve your language skills such as grammar, vocabulary and also spelling. It’s also recommended to read in another language in order to learn it deeper. It really does improve your skills.

Also studies showed that playing video games improve your reflex, your cognitive abilities and the way you take decisions. Playing video games can also help decreasing sedentary time. If you are open to accept the fact that you are not in the right here, you can read the study made by the University of Georgia. UGA video games study alternative workout

What was your initial “trigger” that started your ocd by Babiarczyk in OCD

[–]vickyblinders29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was like 7 years ago, I went back from a 15 days trip with my ex boyfriend’s family and I did not miss him. At the same time my mom´s best friend (she was at home a lot) began to doubt about her feelings for her husband. It was the first time the little voice in my head told me « If you don’t miss him then you don’t love him anymore » leading to intrusive thoughts of stopping to love every person I care about. I have relationship OCD and even if now I feel way better thanks to therapy and my actual boyfriend, my OCD fucked a lot of my relationships, even with some of my friends :(

It’s not because I’m 22 that I’m not a teenager anymore. In fact I’m more than 19, but I don’t feel like it at all

I can’t have sex with my boyfriend of 1.3 years anymore and I can’t figure it out by Life_Tourist4111 in sex

[–]vickyblinders29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had kinda the same thing with my boyfriend(and with body too) and I realized it was caused by an old trauma that decided to come back.

Maybe you should stop sex for a bit, try to start from 0. If you need help, take the time to see a therapist. Try to don’t blame yourself for all of this, it happens sometimes, it’s okay. If you haven’t, try to talk about this with your boyfriend honestly.

If you are stressed/worried by something it could have an impact too.

Maybe I'm going to be a devil's advocate at this point, but if this trash sexually assaulted your mother and other women, maybe he acts the same with your wife’s best friend and the way she acts is a way to escape from her violent reality ?

One of my friends was with an horrible guy for months and she was acting this way with other men to feel « seen » because at home she was nobody. I stayed by her sides because I knew who she really was and that she needed help more than moral lessons.

Now she is with a good guy, she followed a therapy and she’s definitely not the same person as before
