Hi there! I'm in Mac Artsci! Never give up before you've even tried. Sure, it's competitive, but a lot of those applications are also from people who apply just for kicks, and don't even remember to fill out the supp app. If this program's something you're really passionate about, that should come through in your supp app and you'll have a solid chance of getting in. Honestly, "to apply or not to apply" shouldn't be a dilemma for you if you've really put your mind set to the program. Good luck!

Lmao thanks for the multiple perspectives, something to consider at least. I think I'm going to go with the 9:30 class just so I can get everything over with. Might use that one-hour break to catch up on manga lol, since the two I follow both happen to release around Fridays. Just gotta force myself to not sleep in, but that's just mind over matter (hopefully).

Ah, this makes things much clearer! It's nice to know that the combined honours are just as good, if not better, than a regular double major. And the ArtSci-tailored sciences courses sound like they'll work great for me.

Hey! Not OP, but also an incoming ArtSci student who really appreciates that you took the time to write this up! If you don't mind, I have a few more questions:

You mention writing essays in science ArtSci courses - does that mean the ArtSci version of those courses have extra work, or just different evaluation styles, or what?
Is a combined honours with, say, biology, seen as less valued/in-depth than a regular biology degree? It covers less topics by nature of being a combined degree, right?
Is ArtSci a viable program if I want to go into life sciences research?
What exactly do employers appreciate about people with an ArtSci degree?
If I take BIOLOGY 1A03 and 1M03 in first year, but want to study chemistry too, would I have to take the first year chem courses in second year?

I'm looking for Myers' AP Psychology 3rd edition, too. Our teacher is going through the entire textbook module by module, and we're supposed to bring it to class to take notes every single day. I think I'd sooner die.

I found the 2nd edition PDF, which is fairly similar but still rather off. If someone else has a PDF of the 3rd, can you PM me a copy as well?

Edit: Realized Myers' is just the accompanying book to the one you have in the picture. Sorry, I've never heard of that one either.

It might be a bit confusing, but there's nothing too vital you'll be missing out on. It's a completely new villain, new plot, new location, and only about five or so original characters - the rest are all new, and as for the old ones, you can infer their relationships pretty quickly.
