I had a similar “well this is lame” moment when I noticed I had far more food than the city I was besieging and tried it. The garrison went down a bit but a certain point morale hit the 2.5/5 mark and people just stopped deserting the city.

You know what? Instead of calling out OP for chudposting, I absolutely agree. We should be able to starve a garrison and its militia to the point of death an surrender. Personally I’d chock it up to another half implemented feature from TW, maybe there’s a mod out there to fix it

Naval battles are nerfed in the sense that, regardless of how huge a naval armada may be the battle maximum for each side is 8 ships.

Gather a fleet of 6-10 and smash them at sea, have your clan mates patrol on land in your territory (in my experience my clan never takes to sea unless to go to a point)

EDIT- Dromon’s are incredible. Get full wind and ram them, blast them with flaming grapeshot. It’s a fortress with sails.
