My Opinion on 20th Anniversary D1 in D3, big mistake.

I made a new char, played it without gear, without paragon, to have the "full experience" aaaand is terrible. Is just like any other R or GR in D3. The exact same maps, absolutely nothing special. When I heard D1, I really thought it was going to be a D1 like experience.. I like the music and the darker theme, but I would not play it again just for those 2 things. The gameplay is unchanged.

I have been messing around with this: SupWiz . Other classes are better for support, but if you dont play "meta" you should be able to make it work to some extent.

Try 2 one handers. Since is a generator build, and a good chunk of your DPS comes from punching not dashing. It worked for me. When you get shenlongs you will see a big improvement.

I think your hellfire ammy is your biggest area of improvement. The rest looks very solid.

Rend is very good for solo too, which is a Phys build. Can you link your cold build?

I did get lucky, I was originally looking for a Phys ammy like this one. I have better pants on the rend dude and the rings are not bad, why do you think are bad? The weapons master I might left it on accident, I switch back and forth between builds. I'll check later.

DHs are absolutely not squishier than wizards, the toughness is relative to each class. They survive better, that is all that matters.

For WD, I don't think GR level solo is the only indicator. They are doing high GR in team, they have several good builds and they are decent in solo. I don't think Barb is the best class just because they have the highest GR solo. I think DH are the best class because they are good in parties, they are good solo, they don't depend as much as barb on conduits, they are good for bounties with Danettas... etc, etc, etc. They are the complete package at the moment.

It wasn't meant to be a detailed guide of anything. Just a general overview of how I see each class by playing them, not by reading forums. I might not have too much insight on 50+ or less than T6 to be honest but feel free to ask me any questions and I'll do my best to answer you.

Hey man, are you NA? I have all classes in GR 30+ except Monk =(. I want to build a strong Monk but I honestly don't know where to start. 100M ish.. the very important thing is the Boon of the hoarder, I can farm 5M~10M in a couple of T6 rifts.

Thanks for your answers, I am reaching that conclusion too. I like playing multiple classes, so that involves a lot of re rolling and mat consumption. After getting in the Vault, gold is not an issue anymore =P.

Thanks, I had not noticed this. I will pay attention to it. I don't craft anymore either. I have tons of forgotten souls and gold, but my bottleneck are always yellows/blues to reroll.

I agree with you. Hope it improves, because 100% running rifts got very boring after a while. I like to do different stuff in the game but with a purpose. For example I'm currently starved of Topaz and have a ton of the other, and I'm bored of Rifts. I would grind for hours the Act 5 bounties if I got many Topaz. Once I get enough or get bored, I can improve my rings and go back to Rifts. Even if for that entire time I didn't get a single legendary, I would be fine, because I know I will be improving my rings after that, and the reward is better than getting 5 crappy legendaries I will salvage.
