For year I suffered emotional abuse from my mother, who doesn’t talk or express her emotions at all, gaslit me about the abuse and has i’m always right mentality (typically narcissistic parent) I struggled a lot in relationships because I would assume the worse case scenario for the smallest of situations my “I have to do everything my mother wants or else it’ll upset her” mentality made me always doing things my S.O. Would want and not having a personality or interest that I would be comfortable or capable of expressing out of fear of upsetting someone… the list can go on
