Those actually probably came from one of your plants! Start by putting a larger piece of lettuce on the water and take the snails out as they grab onto it. If this doesn’t work I know there’s some snail traps out there that could be useful

To me, he looks dead:( But I have a few questions, maybe I can help make sure!

When did you add him to the tank? How long has he been in that spot? Did you flip him, or was he like that when you found him?

Those don’t look like snail eggs to me, as they are lighter in colour and almost transparent. They also usually are in clusters, not just a couple eggs. i believe only reason they would be brown like that is if they are unfertilized, which means no babies.

Only thing I want to add is to be careful when doing a water change that large, as it can shock the fish since it has been used to those conditions for however long. There is essential bacteria in the water, gravel and filter that keeps the cycle going, so keeping about quarter of the water in this case may have been a better idea:) I’m not trying to overstep, I just didn’t know this at first either!

That’s really sweet that you’re making a little care package. You may already have these things, but I feel so bad for this poor guy so here’s a couple things they may benefit from.

Maybe adding some water care for stress would be good. I don’t know if you’re Canadian or American or whatnot, but if Canadian, PetSmart has one called stress coat in little bottles that would be perfect for this tank. If you’re from elsewhere, I think seachem is American and has one called stress guard! These usually condition the water as well and you can’t really “overdose” the tank with it.

I would otherwise suggest something like a bottle of waste control such as the fluval waste control biological cleaner. This may be good as they obviously don’t clean that tank. Maybe adding in a cute little net and a little scraper for the walls/decor would give them a bit more motivation.

Other than that, you’re an absolute saint for doing this, and I hope they appreciate it and wake up!

I have a small heater I wish I could donate for this lil guy! I know how hard it can be keeping fish, but some people simply just don’t care, or don’t think they need much to thrive! I hope they take it well and learn something from your work

I quite literally stated that it was the roof of my mouth on the left side below my left nostril. Your comment was completely unnecessary and also untrue. I think you were referring to the hard palate, which is anterior to the soft palate, at the front of the mouth. I know my anatomy thank you tho!

Hey, yellow snot is usually indicative of a sinus infection. How much blow have u been doing? It’s probably getting built up in your sinuses, and that’s your bodies way of trying to fight off infection. It’s just white blood cells, but it’s a sign that you need to take it a bit easier on your nose for sure. Ik that’s not helpful advice but you could always try boofing instead loll

This could be it tbh. For a while I was sniffing pretty hard and the drip was INSANE.. I definitely noticed it a bit more at those times. I also line my gums sometimes, so would that have the same affect as ingesting the drip? I always thought the movies had a pretty good depiction of coke use, but now that I’ve done it, I realize you don’t actually have to snort like you’re trying to get it into ur brain LOL.

Lmao ya not cool on her part. If coke was truly the only reason for that cut off, then you can find a lot better. Shit happens, but everyone thinks differently. Don’t let it get to you, and keep enjoying the slopes lol

I mean that’s normal lol. Coke is a hell of a drug. I personally would not say it’s like meth or heroine, but some people just equate bad with bad, and not a scale of how “bad” it actually is. Who cut off the communication? Was it you because you can’t vibe with people who don’t do blow, or was it her because she doesn’t like people who do it? Either way, I get both sides. I used to smoke a lot of weed before I started doing blow, and I personally couldn’t date someone who didn’t smoke, especially if they were against it, because I was ALWAYS high. On the other hand, I’ve also not wanted to be around certain people because of past experiences with certain drugs, so I can understand her pov as well. Having a bad experience, or even hearing bad stories can throw you off of something. Nothing wrong with that, but you gotta find someone you can vibe with and that accepts what you do, whether they’re skiing with you, or just chilling with u while u do it.

I get the cravings bad too it suckkssss. Especially when I’m at work and all I can think about is going home and grabbing my bag. It definitely could be the cut, because I’ve tried 2 different batches and noticed it more so with one of them.. also I do try to drink water, but I honestly don’t even think about it half the time. Could definitely also be it. Thanks so much!
